Other Factors: Attended Boys State?
General Comments/Congratulations/Venting/Commiserations,etc: I AM DONE!!!

i just do not understand why i was deferred, i just don't get it.

what are your stats?

Greymatter, she wouldn't be questioning this if her stats weren't qualified.

xindianx, all I can say is that they make a class, rather than accept individuals. Fairness isn't necessarily a part of the college process; it's simply being the right person at the right time, and showing that in the right way.

You seem to be a very bright person, and I am sure you will have a great chance of getting in come April. Good luck.

xindianx, i know how you feel.....
i really am at a loss with why I got deferred too....i know my gpa/decile rank/AP scores should've been higher, but i thought they were justified by my SATII, other APs, and rigor of coursework.....
....I haven't felt this low in a lonnng time

it's worse too b/c a couple JHU staff/professors were depending on/rooting for my acceptance...

Hey Christina... I'm sorry my friend.

I really, really really, hope you get in RD. Taking classes with Gabor wouldn't be the same without you.

You're an amazing girl, and I honestly have faith that you will get in RD. Just keep your hopes up; not only are people at Hopkins rooting for you, but I'm right there with 'em.

Awww you're so sweet Jim tear

Thank you, that message meant alot to me...

wow!!
a lot of people with scores below 2100 got in.
and to think, i thought my 2150 was below average.
oh. the agony. :(
jhu and cornell are my top two choices. i should have applied ED.
