Why you think you were accepted/deferred/rejected: I think I was accepted because I really rounded out my application. I sent a writing portfolio, the newspaper articles I wrote while abroad, and really showed persistence and interest in the school. My Common Ap essay was powerful. I also had a very good final transcript.

sigh. I don’t know. I am very un-happy right now, I have been completely boned by the college process. I was rejected from cornell, penn, georgetown, tufts, uchicago (deferred early) and columbia, got into BU, american, GWU honors w/merit scholarship, waitlisted at UVA and bowdoin college.
