Official June 10th ACT Discussion

What was the answer to the question in the science questoin about the block, where it waslike
According to Student 2, what is the gravitational potential energy at the top of the slope equal to?

Some choices were, 0, the Mechanical energy...

same i think there were two

Yeah, I rushed to finish the last science passage, I think I put 0 for the gravitational potential energy one. What'd you guys get for the question where the teacher introduced a new situation for the block. It was something about an airless chamber and the question asked which student's model is still true in the new situation. I put Students 1 and 3... Kind of a guess though.

was the answer to the last question in that passage something about the kinetic energy increasing and the gravitational potential energy remaining constant?

wat did u guys get for the question with like...n!... (n!)^n!)and it had like (n-2) (n-1)... (2) (1)...i had no clu how to solve it and i think i left something out.

I ended up guessing (n!)^(n!), n!)^n, n^2 or something

Student III only for the airless chamber

at the top Student II thought that GPE=the total mechancial energy

last questions is since friction is present, mechanical energy is not conserved, kinetic energy is decreasing while GPE stays constant

I'm in AP Physics C right now so I'm 100% sure of these answers. Keep posting your wrong answers and I will keep correcting them.;)

did anyone get like 4 or 5 of the same letters in a row on math? i think it might have been b's

the waitor was not prompt.... he arrived a while later....

much later

was the answer: a while later; or some time later

well it asked which answer showed his promptness so isnt the question suggesting he was prompt and its asking us which one of the choices suggests promptness

were the questions with its' and it's and its mostly its'....i never really studied words like its' so i have no idea if it shows possession or what because i know it's means it is..so were the 2 questions with its' the answer its'?

the question was the waitor's promptness..... he wasn't neccessarily prompt....

he wasn't prompt.... he never really was prompt

There's no such word as its'.

i sort of noticed that he wasnt really the best waiter aroudn and that he didnt seem prompt as i went through the questions....but all i could really notice was that the question was saying which answer choice shows the promptness of the waiter..that made me keep thinking that the waiter doesnt seem prompt but the question is saying hes prompt..watever tho..i think i left it as it was

thanks for clearing that up mrs ferguson......damn that ****es me off tho cuz it was a whole 2 questions which basically makes me start my score at like a 34! but if theres no possible word spelled its', can they put it in or is it just another reasonable answer choice theyve been doing forever?

The answer choice " its' " is just an obvious made-up option. That word doesn't exist.

lol and yet it appeared 3 or 4 times...that was a nice feeling to be able to keep marking it out.

foir the parallelogram problem, was there an answer choice that was 6 root 10 or is that just my imagination? i kno the answer was 4 root 10 but i cant remember if i bubbled in 6 root 10.

I put that he (the waiter) arrived a moment later because that phrase best illustrates his promptness. Did anyone feel like they really screwed up on math? I know I did. I was rushing, and I made many careless mistakes. I am so frustrated because I always study my butt off in math, but I still end up scoring in the mid twenties. AHH!! I don't even study for English, and I usually break 30!
<3

i think there might have been a 6 root 10 because i noticed it before 4 root 10..im not sure though but it was like c or d

what was the letter answer for 4 root 10?
