Official June 2 2007 SAT II Proctor Thread

I had like 5 proctors who all kept disagreeing with eachother about what they were supposed to do first, and they started to read us the instructions for kids with LD and no one even realized until 10 minutes into it.

Our proctor was just the best...totally. We were on a US military base here in the UK from WW2 [totally scary...it was like a FULL ON working base - with bunkers and soldiers and armed guards] - but the woman taking it was just lovely. She was 100% American [which is a novelty for a Brit, possibly lost on the vast majority of CC'ers...], and she'd taken the time to make chocolate and almond american-style brownies for us with 'frosting' from a tub [another of your things totally alien here]...she was REALLY liberal with the breaks (I think we got about 20 and 5 instead of 10 and 1), and inbetween she talked to us all about her marriage and how she'd experienced Glen Miller coming to the base and all that...totally wonderful :)

But yeah - I guess even on 'american soil' [we all needed passports to get on!] things here are more relaxed...I mean, copying out and signing and 'honour code'?!? oi...America ;-p

last year i was taking the SAT I at my school, and this lady had no idea what she was supposed to do. she gave us 10 minutes for one section that was supposed to be 25 minutes, and she skipped the last section and told us that we could go home....and then one kid started to panic....and she yelled at the poor kid till he was going to cry...but eventually we all said that there was another section so she told us to go back to our seats and finish the exam

it was horrible!! i had to cancel my score afterwards cuz the whole thing was so messed up....

umm.. i dont notice what the protor is doing

my proctor............ I don't know why, but she stood right in front of my desk, and stared at me doing the exam for about 10 minutes. I don't know why... I couldn't concentrate.. it was such a relief when she moved away from my table.

"PS. Dav, what school did you take it at? I took mine at an all-girls' school too! (my own boarding school, lol)"

Buffalo Seminary
