Official June 2010 SAT Subject Test Results Thread

You guys are all amazing. I thought my soph S did well - 800 Math2 and 770 Chem

Just a little advice. My D is in the class of 2010 - was admitted to many schools - Columbia, Pomona, Duke, WUSTL among many others and only took 2 SAT2s. The schools only ask for 2 tests and therefore they only use 2 in their calculations. Don’t get crazy taking loads of them - it is a waste of your time!! Her scores BTW were - 790 US Hist and 750 Bio.

Does anyone have the curve for bio?

800 Math 2 (yes!)
760 Chem (only took a month after the AP test, but I managed to forget a ton)

French: 760 (ugh) Physics:740 (bigger ugh)

no doubt in my mind those are retakes in october

My son (rising junior):
800 Math 2
770 Latin
He will still need to take Physics, but it’s nice to hear that in general only 2 test are needed.

I’m so glad for everybody else who did good! My first collegeboard test… actually, my first standardized test.

800 Chemistry!!

Gratz! Happy Summer!

in the order i took them:

math II- 770
world history- 760
chem- 760

A previous poster mentioned only two tests are needed for college. However, some colleges, like Harvard require 3 subject tests.

That being said I took 3 this June: Math II, Chem, Phys and scored 800 in all three.

Chem: 640
Math II: 680
USH: 680

i probably should have studied -_____- i hate that i’m always so close to my 700 goal.

Math II: 770 (wow!! i am utterly surprised)
Spanish: 790
US History: 800

I’m very grateful and happy for my scores, and everybody else’s scores just blow me away. My 1st time taking them! Congrats to all fellow testtakers and lets not stress about the scores, and enjoy your summer

@mockingbird7

actually i’m pretty sure Harvard changed it this year. now you only need 2!

Lol, I thought my scores my phenomenal until I saw the CC results.

Chem: 800
US History: 800

Also got 800 in Math IIC in December

■■■ ■■■ ■■■ ■■■…did i say ■■■?
us history-790
spanish-670
biology e-690
etiwentiebwtuibtw AND I WON’T GET A CHANCE TO RETAKE THEM FOR MY ED APP TO DUKE…because in october i’m taking the SAT I (which i haven’t taken yet)

USH-770
Chem-780
Math II-650 O_O

I really need to start studying these things. Massgirl92, I’m in the same boat as you. I was going to apply EA to schools, but not anymore since I have to take the SAT I and Math II over again.

USH:760
LIT: 550 (■■■)
It feels like the Lit test is out to get you. To be honest it has the most confusing questions I had seen. Maybe I was over thinking it. The worst part it at first it seemed fun because the passages were really interesting( at least to me, I love to read)

And to top it off I send the scores to BU and UCSB already.
I’m screwed.

I believe that Georgetown is the only school in the country that still requires 3 SAT 2s.

790 USH…so close, yet so far :(

I guess that will be my third one in order to apply for Georgetown, but I’ll take 2 more in order to get 800s (hopefully) for all my other schools. Probably Bio M and Physics/WH/Lit/Math II…still undecided

@ 10iswarrior, if you’ve taken the act and send that, then some schools (like duke) don’t even require sending subject test scores…i only plan on sending my ush score there.

yes!

bio 800
phys 800
us 800

Chem 800
Bio 800
I’m pleased =).
