Official June 2012 Sat CR sections (US)

I got snide for the critics question. The author wasn’t really trying to sincerely explain the goals of the “army”; he was trying to mock those goals.

@SAT100
Same answer.
I don’t remember what I put for the sentence completion because I don’t remember the answer choices…

@override, I think the passage you are talking about may be experimental.

@s2aeca
B was confounding and something lol. I ended up picking B also.

And the spinx’s gaze was “hold”?

I picked confounding too.
And I put hold, yes.

what was the relationship beween the passages in the university one?

And what was the classification of the artwork due to it’s ecclectic ness?

@bluedevil can you verify options for classification of the artwork? what did you pick?

btw i put analogous reasoning i think. for university one in the parenthesis, i got state and mock the position

For the university passage, what did you guys get for the last question?
The question was like “what is one thing that they agree on?”
or something like that.
I picked they both think the faculty members something something.
because passage 1 says that the school limits on what professors teach through contracts ro something…

But it wasn’t necessarily mocking the opinion, it was (which they say you will get more, but you really won’t.) That isn’t really mocking is it?

@s2jhlee
I was between that and “cite and refute”. I picked “cite and refute” in the end, but I am probably wrong. Don’t remember which question “analogous reasoning” was for…

I put both passage regard teaching educational and moral important …

not sure though

I put “anticipate and respond to a reaction” for the parenthesis university one

i think i put they both agree on education for civics is essential or something like that. pretty sure its the right answer?

@s2jhlee I didn’t get that. I said it was a possible assertion that he responded to (or something like that). It wasn’t really mocking
I did NOT put education for civics is essential. I put both thought formal education could lead to the development of civic responsibility.

Does anyone know if one of the answers was “good citizens”

I got that formal course can help improve citizenship, or is that for a different question?

what about a person being unreliable do you remember that question?

@zzzzzzzzzz yeah that’s what i got

this is probably stupid question
Idr the question
but the options were
pushover
bully
fraud
etcetc
what did u guys get…?
