**Official June 2014 SAT II Physics Thread**

How are you guys preparing for the test? I'm currently using the guide from SparkNotes.

Also, does anyone have links to previous practice tests? The only ones I know of are from the blue SAT II book, but I would rather save those questions for a few days before the test. I'm currently working off of old AP questions, but I'm not sure how those questions compare to the SAT II questions.

P.S. This video series is extremely helpful for last minute cramming:

I’m using PR and Sparknotes. I’ve heard mixed reviews about PR-- anybody know how accurate it is? Also, great videos OP

If anyone wants practice materials for the SAT II, feel free to message me. I have two practice SAT Physics tests and 3 AP Physics B multiple choice exams that my physics teacher gave me.

Also, if anyone sees this thread and has taken the Math Level 2 SAT II, please let me know what I should do to prepare.

My plan is to go to the test, and bs it the best i can…
Thats how I aced Chem lol…

@frostyy - I’d love to have the practice materials for the SAT II Physics tests from you. I’ll try to message you now (I’m a new member so not sure yet if I can message at this point)

@frostyy It would be great to have more practice material. Thank you so much for offering to share!

I’m not sure how accurate and how realistic these tests are. But here ya guys go

http://papers.xtremepapers.com/SAT/SAT%20II%20Success%20Physics.pdf.pdf

If anyone has taken the SAT Physics, I’d appreciate it if you could let us know how hard/easy the tests are compared to the real thing.

Does anyone know if Sparknotes is a good review source?

@student03‌ The extreme papers are harder than the real exam. Only some of it will show up on the actual exam.

Anyone with curve predictions for a 750+ ?

@sirclutch23‌ Nice name lol, would you recommend even doing the extreme paper tests just for like practice, or are they extremely unrealistic?

And IDK about curves, I may be wrong but I think 8 wrong is an 800, so about 13 wrong for a 750? IDK

@student03‌ thanks man. Yeah I would recommend doing them because they get your concepts straight. I’m on the 4th test right now and it has definitely helped.

I saw some tests where like 12 wrong was an 800 so i guess its all based on the difficulty.

2 days left! Anyone got any helpful links for understanding electricity and magnetism? I think I got everything else down (maybe except lenses/mirrors). Electricity and Magnetism is my weak point though

@student03‌ you might want to go to the physicsclassroom website… it’s pretty good at explaining things but I never really use it.

Thanks @avc118‌ I’ll definately look into it

@frostyy I would love another practice test

If you guys e-mail me relatively quickly (before 7:30pm EST), I can send you a practice test. I haven’t been on collegeconfidential and I could only send the practice test via e-mail because technology hates me.

Niice

ugh super nervous

Anyone know how accurate the PR practices are? I took one just now and I thought I was doing terrible but apparently the curve is super lenient, got a 770.

Today’s test is easier than PR practice tests?
