awelex I know your pain on Math. Your SAT score is pretty good, but you could probably raise math pretty easily. I thought I got 800 on Math O.O That is so weird.

800 on the SAT Math 2 balances out this 760, right?

Essay: I wrote a page and a half, only had one example of Winston Churchill as a hero that has done great things and should be admired because of that, and how heroes should be remembered because they inspire future generations, and so on. I'm pretty sure it was three paragraphs, intro, body, conclusion. So you don't have to have a perfect five paragraph essay.

I'm vaguely upset because I was totally expecting an 800 on Math, and lol if Math had been 800 I would've got a 2400. Oh well, I can't REALLY complain, sighs. First time as a sophomore, soo I guess I am done.

Haha cory123. I never can get writing up....70 was my MC scaled score.
Maybe we could just give each other our scores, superscore and be done with it.

Will you be taking it again come October?

Congrats to everyone getting all these high scores! Esp. dollyflower, YOU'RE FINISHED WITH SATs AS A SOPHOMORE! I, on the other hand, will be wasting more time studying...ugh.

Wow. Okay, looking at some of these posts, I'm definitely retaking.

CR: 770
M: 710
W: 750 (12 essay)

What amuses me the most the actually the essay. I thought I bombed it; I used two literary examples, wrote just under 1.5 pages, and my conclusion was a sentence that was cut off right in the middle of a word.

Ugh, MATH.

Congrats on your score, dollyflower!
Yeah, you're right. The math score really upsets me. It's usually my strongest section, on most practice tests I got 800. And yes, I could probably improve it, but I'm not sure it's worth it, especially because I'm pretty sure I won't improve too much on the other sections. But then again, it really bugs me...

Man the math is REALLY bugging me, too. Your score could be a 2270 I guess, but you also run the risk of going down in the other sections...hmmm that's tough, you'll have to think it out. haha thanks Echelon, and good luck in October. :D

How do you all manage to view your Writing subscores (i.e., MC and essay)? I keep getting the prompt to check again on June 30th. :-/

Critical Reading 770 99%
Math 760 98%
Writing 780 99%
Multiple Choice 72 (score range: 20-80)
Essay 12

I'm a bit surprised with the math; however I had an 800 last time, do I get a chance to show this in anyway besides it being on my score report? (which adcoms probably will barely skim through)

Welcome to the 'disgruntled at math score' club, piccolojunior. xD

1st time: 1350/1950
2nd time: 1420/2000
June: 1340/1960

Will the June test hurt me?

haha oh chill out dollyflower. dont let 40 points disappoint you! i missed getting a 2400 (i got a 780 M) because i was incapable of using my fingers to rebuild that trapezoid ring (my friend did that, lol!) but hey, i would never have figured out how to do that problem. (i still dont)

i like to think that 2300+ but not 2400 is just a sign that we are still mere mortals/normal... :-)

"i like to think that 2300+ but not 2400 is just a sign that we are still mere mortals/normal... :-)"

Hey! :-P

you can be a demigod if you want. i address my 2400 friend as "2400" when i get ****ed at her. :-)
