********Official June 2th 2007 SAT II Scores Thread********

omg.. I bombed them! :(

Math: 700

Bio: So low I don't even want to talk about it. :(

Good job to everyone else though :p

Chem - 800 YESSSS! I got 800s on all of the practice tests, but I was scared that I would somehow mess up on the real one =)

US History - 770 I should have omitted some (I hate leaving ones blank, so I answered all of them). All of the ones that I guessed on I got wrong =P

Math II - 740 Maybe this isn't good for some of you, but I am SO happy with this score. I ran out of time and (literally, unless you count taking someone ELSE's practice test 30 minutes before the test) didn't study at all. Due to the fact that I didn't study, I encountered many problems that made me curse, "I KNOW how to do this... I just can't remember the formula!" I think that if I retake this, I can get a much better score.

All in all.... I'm much happier than I was with my SAT scores =)

Bio M - 750
I'm satisfied because I didn't prepare enough and we didn't learn most of the material in my bio class.

800 spanish
780 math2
730 math1

cool cool :]

Chemistry: 800 (hopefully this is a predictor of my AP score)
Math IIC: 770 (It's good, but I really thought I could get an 800. Oh well)

SATII US History in October. Maybe.

math IIC 780 Very Satisfied considering I was scoring 610ish on barrons and 710 is on CB

USH 680 Ive never got over a 600 on REA or Kaplan or Barrons book so Im feeling good:)

Im done with SAT II and now onto SAT for me on oct

i have a dilemma. i need another subject test. math is not my forte. i suck at science. i already took us history (780 baby!!!!!! whoo!) i'd like to take the french sat II, but i only have three years under my belt. what should i do?

^^ literature, maybe?

thanks. i'll think about it!

Math IC: 730

Not bad, considering I just looked at a review book for 30 min the night before, got about a 610 on a practice test, and seriously considered taking Lit as a last-ditch effort instead of Math IC.

Sorta weird for me to be taking the Math IC b/c I was in Calculus BC this year...and got an A. But that was with a lot of bonus and generous rounding...I'm really not amazing at math!

730 Math IC = 91st %ile > 800 Math IIC = 88 %ile

Now only 1 more College Board test...a science to be named later to satisfy the "I don't know what the f-word they were thinking" requirement of CMU and Cornell that recommends a science test...for BUSINESS MAJORS.

ok so i took 3 tests

Math 2-740
Physics-740
Chemistry-740

shud i retake?

retake the math 2 and maybe chem

be happy with that for physics

no a lot higher than mine

You guys are pathetic.

Literature: 780
US History: 760

I'm a little disappointed but I'm certainly not retaking!

hey guys this is what I read from online

"Percentile scores on the SAT Subject Tests are extremely misleading because not every student takes the Subject Tests and those students who do, don't all take the tests in the same subjects. For example, the only people who bother to take the Physics test are those that are excellent at Physics. A score of 600 on the Physics test places you in only the 38th percentile, while a 600 on the Chemistry test puts you in the 47th percentile. This difference, however, does not mean you stand a better chance of admission with a 600 in Chemistry rather than Physics. The scaled scores are meant to represent similar levels of achievement and are a much better indicator of how well you did than the misrepresentative percentile scores."

so percentile rankings are a bit skewed...

800 Math 2
780 Chem

800 chem
800 French

HELLYEAH.

Yeah... a 730 on Math I definitely isn't better/greater than an 800 on Math II (~_~o)/;;

800 math iic, french, physics... woot
