********Official June 9th 2007 ACT Reading Thread********

The title says it all. :)

Reading was fairly easy. :)

DO NOT DISCUSS ANY QUESTIONS SINCE YOU ALL SIGNED THE STATEMENT! :)
DO NOT ENDANGER YOUR SCORES!!! :)
YOU HAVE ALL BEEN WARNED!!! :)

Yeah, I am 100% positive i got a 36. The passages were really easy. questions too. The answers to the questions were just blatantly in the text.... man. I feel so good about that.

Me too.
ShadowRider78 gives fhqwgads2005 a high five!!! :)

High five man!

ARGH, why do I have to wait 26 seconds TO GIVE A HIGH FIVE!?!?!?

:) :)

yeah reading was ez. today was the first time i tried reading half the passage then looking at questions and it worked like a charm. it also helped that i read the alchemist last summer.(shepherd and sheep and girl passage)

REALLY??? there was a passage of something you had already read? thats never happened to me. what are the chances? i liked that passage too. i am going to go get that book now.

yeah it was the last one i did so i was ecstatic that i was actually going to finish.. too bad i blew the science 10 mins later

The ease of reading was probably to balance the difficulty of science and math.

Nah Reading was easy. Math was easy. English was good. Science was ok.

Damn I wish that stupid fire alarm didnt go off. I cant even remember the science because my brain was so cloudy...

What was the letter answer to the last question? I didn't get to read the question...so I put A...

That's the thing. I'm kind of worried about reading because I read half of the first passage, read the whole second passage, and skimmed the last two, and I was able to eliminate two to three choices in almost all questions. I also was able to piece together most of the passage, so I'm kind of skeptical as to maybe I screwed up somewhere. It seemed easy even when I had four minutes to answer seven questions. However, I guess most people said it was easy, so it really was

Coming from a person whose best subjects are math and science, yet readingis always his highest score, IT WAS EASY!

Wait btw whats the curve like?
I heard 2 wrong is still a 36 in which case it would mean that its actuallly hard for everyone else. I guess we CC'ers are overachievers.

Anyone remember what the guy did before he talked to the girl? or something?
Options were like went to church, bought wool, cant remember others
And anyone remember what he didnt do? First question, options were like read, find comfort talking to his sheep, and two others?

Thanks.

I agree that the reading was really easy this year. I usually do well in math/science but I'm pretty sure I got a 34+

TMac-

If I remember correctly the answer was (F) She talked to him first when he was reading. Or something along those lines.

i think the answer was before the abandoned church.

I'm sorry, I'm thinking of another question. MNOAAA is correct.

yea thats what I got. I was about to put the reading thing but then I read the first sentence which I had actually skipped over.
