does anyone know what a good score is for a sophomore?

haha. in my previous post 5 pages ago i wrote this:

Math: 800
CR: 680
W:760
Essay:0

I meant this:

Math: 800
CR: 680
W: 760
Essay:9

CR: 760 (up 50 points)
M: 770 (up 40 points)
W/E: 720/10 (down 30/up 1)

Quick question: I want to retake this to try and up my math (M 680, W 800, CR 760), but I also need to do my SAT IIs.

There are two potential test dates for me to do this:
October 4 and November 1. Is it possible for me to do SAT on one day, SAT IIs on the other, and apply ED if need be? I'm not sure if I'm applying ED anywhere, but will that take the option away?

kaznack- check with the schools you are considering, most early programs take the november test date.

CR: 800 (730)
M: 800 (770)
W: 720-76MC 8E (760-70MC 12E)

Superscore 2360 :D
But if I had my old essay score it would've been 2400... but I'm not complaining :)

Wow...I'm so disappointed...2200...that's so pathetic and it was my last chance too...man this is gonna hurt me big times...well I guess ACT is my only hope...:( (BTW how the heck did I only get a 9 essay? I could of sworn I got at least a 10 and most likely a 11...)

You can take it again in the fall? and a 2200 is nothing to be ashamed of.

Well, I have to take the SAT II in October and I'm applying through QB...

K well. Just help me out a little bit on what i should do for my high school years.

Im in 8th grade going to 9th grade next year

Im from the south, not really that smart compared to like the northeast

anyways

Critical reading 490
Math 490
Writing 390
- Multiple choice 40
- Essay 6

Can anyone give me advice on what to do for my next four years in preparing for the SAT again?

sp1093....can i please ask you why you are already thinking about the SATs in terms of preparation already if your only going to be a freshman in high school next year??
....get your gpa up as high as it can go and enjoy life without collegeboard until junior year, and then think about it

Quoted for emphasis. SATs cannot get you into college but they can keep you out. Look at UPenn's SAT acceptance perentage. Only 21% of people scoring in the 800-750 range are accepted. Thats about 80% of people getting rejected with a 750+. Similar trends can be seen at Brown and other top schools.
