<p>Hello Potential 2011 LEDA Scholars! I am wondering if we can start this thread to keep each other updated on new information from the program. I know that many people on College Confidential are wondering why they still haven't received any news for third level advancement. Does anyone know what is the status? Has any of you received results yet?</p>
<p>I was notified about advancing to the 3rd level and the interview was early last week for me. I also talked with another CCer that had her interview the Friday before mine. I haven’t heard about the final decision yet though… Do they just not tell you anything if you don’t advance to the next stage?</p>
<p>Hey determinedj, I found out that LEDA will be releasing all results by the end of next week. They stated that they have received a record-high number of applicants this year and it is taking longer than anticipated. By the way, did you receive a big envelope or an e-mail for third level notification?</p>
<p>Livewell! I emailed them and they said if I haven’t received a yes or no by Wednesday to call their office (I asked if I’d know by the end of the week)! They sent me a big envelope last time. Hopefully I’ll get another one next week! (fingers crossed) Good luck!</p>

<p>I got a letter today saying that I have been selected to become a LEDA scholar! I’m super excited, but it also said, “The Talent Search is a rolling admission process, so students at different schools have had different application deadlines and many students have not yet completed the Third Level.”</p>
<p>Congrats determinedj!!! I am so proud of you. Thank you very much for the information. I am still awaiting my third level decision. I pray that I will also be selected into the program and that I will get a chance to meet you.</p>
<p>I just received the date for my phone interview. I’m a bit nervous, but hopefully I’ll be selected and meet you guys in the future!</p>

At first I was nervous that everybody else that applied would be snobby or mean for some reason, but everybody that I’ve talked to that has applied has been super nice and easy to talk to–so THANK YOU BOTH for giving me some extra confidence about meeting some new people. :)</p>
