My S came down this morning and said that he is ready to decline his Lehigh admission. He has narrowed his choice to a full cost of attendance scholarship at our state Flagship school, and a full tuition scholarship at a school in VA. We are going to visit each one more time to help him decide. Best of luck to everyone, and congratulations to the student who gets his spot.

I’m still not able to login to the portal. It says login failed but will not allow me to reset my password either. My username is too long to enter and when I enter my LIN it says that security questions cannot be found. Can someone please help!!?
If you are wait listed, do they still give a financial aid offer?
Waitlisted. Because Lehigh is farther away than most of the other colleges I applied to, I didn’t have a chance to visit. Congrats to everyone!
I was waitlisted. I’m a Legacy (they both attended and worked there) applicant with very strong EC’s, sent my application in early (I wasn’t able to do ED due to my school’s inability to send certain documents at that time), strong academic background all around, and I visited once and asked if a representative could visit my school as I was not able to visit again, but was told they could not.
I will be holding a spot on the list, but I’m weary as to the financial aid I will receive should I get off.
@emckeon204 Did they say “we strongly encourage you to accept your place on our waitlist”? Trying to determine if that’s their standard language or a good sign.

It seems that the kids with exemplary stats were waitlisted, however —most likely due to trying to increase yield.
For those curious, I have a GPA around a 3.8 and a 1420 SAT. Yearbook Editor-in-chief, captain of crew team, club presidents, work with non-profits, hospital volunteer, etc. I am a white female who was seeking quite a bit of financial aid.
I showed no other demonstrated interest than being an active stalker of their twitter and Facebook. I live quite far and wasn’t able to visit or interview 
I think my essays genuinely helped me— they showed I knew a lot about Lehigh and were written both creatively and passionately. I will most likely be attending in the fall, due to an acceptance and a whole lot of financial aid! Congrats to those who got in, and I have my fingers crossed for those on the waitlist!!
@13579ep Yes, they said the same thing about me.
“We appreciate your interest in Lehigh, and as a result we are excited to offer you a place on our Wait List for the Class of 2021. We strongly encourage you to accept your place on the Wait List by completing and submitting the Wait List Response Form by Friday, April 14, 2017 at 11:59pm EDT.”
Pretty sure messages like this are (almost) always automated.

Again, for waitlisted students who really want to attend Lehigh, accept your place on the waitlist and express your interest in attending. If you are serious about it, request a visit and interview. It can’t hurt.
Again, I am not an insider, just an observer.
@Much2learn I had an interview at Lehigh and my interviewer told me that continued interest helps a lot with the wait list.
Did anyone who got waitlisted get any information about merit scholarships or financial aid? I presume going on the wait list doesn’t bind you to attend if accepted since you may not know the cost to attend at this point.
I did not get any institutional aid because I apparently have documents missing. I made sure to have my documents sent before the deadline by having my high school guidance counselor fax them to the office of financial aid. Has anyone else whose been accepted had this happen to them? Any advice?
(Btw my family income is <$25k, so if I cant get any aid from Lehigh I won’t be able to attend)
Guys, my application decision says that ‘though we were very impressed by your application, we cant offer you admission due to high international financial need.’ What shall I do guys? I have been waitlisted by 4 colleges and rejected by 3, so Lehigh is my only option left. Please help me guys.
@Freshuate unfortunately, Lehigh rejected you due to financials. It’s no longer an option for you. I would suggest applying to other colleges that have later admissions deadlines asap, as well as showing interest at the colleges you were waitlisted at. Good luck!
We will never know for sure why our DDs were waitlisted, but the good news is that they both have lots of other options.
Now Lehigh is off the list.
If she’d been accepted with a merit scholarship, we’d have visited Lehigh in April. . We simply did not have an opportunity to make a visit before DD applied last fall.

3.85 UW GPA, 4.3 weighted

Rigorous curriculum including 9 APs and the rest honors
Solid ECs including several leadership positions, community service, part-time job, etc but nothing extraordinary
Showed interest via multiple visits including an IDEAS info session. Also emailed admissions with questions about IDEAS.
Hi I applied to the CSB program and Lehigh said I was accepted to the University, but did not specifically say CSB. Did I get accepted to CSB? Also I requested to join the facebook group(a day or two ago) and have not got in. Also I would like to join the groupme if possible. If anyone could help me out that would be great.
