<p>^^ well, I just called the admissions and they said that we would hear them from “mid to late June.” They said we will receive some kind of notification but it is not necessarily going to be a decision I guess, it seems more like an update. I do not really know what they meant when they told you that we would be contacted “shortly.”</p>

<p>I just called admissions and they told we wont find out until mid to late june. this is so annoying. by the time we hear from penn i will already have my housing done and gone to orientation for my other school.</p>
<p>The problem, folks, is that at this point in the process, what Penn does with its wait list is dependent on what other schools do with THEIR wait lists, and the trickle-down effect that may have on students who’ve already accepted Penn’s offer. The uncertainty is not really the Penn Admissions Office’s fault, although it sounds like that office could do a better job of keeping you guys informed.</p>

<p>Middle of June is so far away. I hope that they will do internationals first cuz I will need to get my visa stuff ready ASAP.

<p>^yes but I wouldn’t trust it. They keep pushing back their deadlines. First they promised to announce everything by mid-May, then it’s June 1. Now it’s postponed indefinitely.</p>
