How do you start your own thread?

These are for Prep Schools, not colleges Iturner1. There are other threads on this site to post about college admission. congrats though

You need to add FP or FA

Also add hooks, they play a pretty big role

ok. I’ll recreate tomorrow with those. Sound good? any other things to add?

Add “Denied at:”

I am going to be a martyr and re-do the application because I have nothing else to do

Additional Comments:

I will add race.

If you follow the 2012 list it should have everything we’re interested in posting.

^ Exactly what I was thinking! :)

I think a good way would be to just do it in a cleaner fashion, like so:

-Example-

Name: ThisOneKid(*)
Accepted: Groton, Taft, Blair
Waitlisted: SPS, Exeter, Kent
Denied: Andover, Choate

The (*) would denote that you can find that applicant’s stats in the Chances Forum. This board gets horribly long even without the details on the applicant, and it gets messy because only some people actually want to post their stats. This way you could just search up that applicant’s name in the Chances Forum, and if someone wanted to post their stats and had not already done so, that could be the place to do it.

Why don’t you start a new thread without stats? for the past few years CC has used a modified version of http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/prep-school-admissions/665444-clean-official-boarding-decisions-applicant-stats-ecs.html which I’ll make in a few moments. The cumulative list, however, hasn’t been made.

I agree with silvertag. We should do something similar to last year where one thread had stats, while the other was a list with no stats. For the one with no stats we should copy and paste the previous persons acceptances, while for the one with stats each one should be indivisual.

I second that!! When are we going to start it?

It’s been started, http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/prep-school-admissions/1470066-2013-clean-official-boarding-decisions-applicant-stats-ecs.html

look at the new one, its in prep school admissions its the one TomTheCat from Andover made, imo its the best

YAY!! This just made it feel real! :O

@Silverstag I ALREADY WANT TO FILL IT!!!
