Congrats billcho a 35 is most impressive :)!

I got a 33 comp.

34 E
34 M
33 R
32 S

In Michigan

Got my scores today in the mail:

34 Composite

35 English
34 Math
36 Reading
30 Science
8 essay (so, 31 combined English/Writing)

I live in central NC, for what it’s worth! :)

Congrats you all. This one is a State mandated test that should be free to participants. This is another reason to be happy about it.

How discouraging, I didn’t get nearly close to those scores. I got a 24 comp along with all 24 sub scores  I also put in bout 30+ hours of testing, hopefully it was just an off day

Does anyone know when the scores will be online?

If you don’t already have an account, I think you must wait until your scores come in the mail to create one. If you already have an account, your scores (the multiple choice, and probably the essay, too) should be online already.

Per the ACT website:
"If you test at one of the test locations listed below, your scores from that administration will be posted after you receive your official score report in the mail. If you do not have an ACT Web account, you will need to create one using the ACT ID or Social Security number printed on your score report when that information is requested as part of creating your account.

State—testing March 2008 and later
School (e.g. Special, Arranged, Project)—testing September 2008 and later
DANTES—testing September 2008 and later"

I am 7th grader taking the ACT test soon. Does anyone have any suggestions/tips for me? This is my first time and I’m trying to get into the duke tip program. Thanks :)

Score came online this morning.

sailorkatie: You have posted this same question is several active threads. The topic of recommended study resources for the ACT has been covered extensively in other, more appropriate, threads.

Just scroll through some older pages and you will find several areas where students have made suggestions and given reviews on ACT study materials. The test and the study materials have not changed much in the last several years, so older reviews are just as relevant and useful.

Best of luck to you – my older brother participated in the Duke TIP program. He really loved it.

Thank you very much smokymtngirl, I was trying to get some people to answer me, so I posted it on the most popular threads:)

I got a 34 (34/34/34/35); however, I didn’t really try all that hard except on the writing, where I got 11. i’ve already got a 36 from a prior session so I just marked not to send my scores anywhere.
