aim screenname: qurrakh91 invite me

i dont remember anything about a secretary… i put egalitarian for something when everyone said it was supposed to be some v word i thiiiink, but im pretty sure i was wrong

I got vituperation by process of elimination. None of the other word choices made sense in that context.

for the question comparing the two passages about politics…was it passage 2 questions the basic assumptions of the analysis in passage 1

kake246 please invite :)

owner, i didn’t get that but i have no idea what i put. i remember something about how passage 2 doesn’t mention specific research or data but passage 1 does, but i think that’s a different quesiton.

vituperation doesnt work however, the meaning doesnt seem to make sense

If you remember the sentence, it was that the person apparently disliked the person because he was mean and racous, so when she was presented with papers showing evidence of misconduct, she reacted with ----.

A negative word doesnt seem to fit because she would be happy that she was presented with such. I forgot what I Put

what was the question for vituperation?

did one passage use statistical data the answer choice?
For the comparing two little short passages, “readily available” for the programmers?
“Both passages show that the translation services still aren’t as good as they can be”, or something like that.

Oh, was it she? I read it as he. I guess I need to read more carefully.

yea i put data

anonymous- i got the statistical data one the same as you

i remember something like the scientists in passage a would think that the phrase in b was a possibility, i think the readily available thing you mean.

I recall that sentence saying something like ‘He was known for his rancor and bitterness, so when he was presented with evidence of his misconduct he reacted with _____’. I know that’s not the wording, but thats the logic structure that I got from it. I could be wrong though.

The comparative passages last question was that Passage 2 questions an assumption that underlies the research presented in Passage 1. IT seemed like passage 1 based its information on research gathered from individual studies, whereas passage 2 questioned the validity of surveying an individual for political science purposes because people don’t usually make decisions by themselves.

ejw289: I think the answer you are referring to is ‘readily attainable.’ I put that as well and am almost positive that it’s correct.

What did people put for the first question on Petrarch? I thought that was a nasty little passage, I ended up getting ‘precedent for comparative..’ or something like that as my answer for the first one. The second question I thought was more straightforward, the answer was that the statue depicted an unattractive man.

I didn’t have a Petrach passage.

That’s what I remember for the question with vituperation as an answer. I do think vituperation is correct.

“surprised” for the political passage, is correct, right?

yes, “surprised” is correct

that is what i put^^

What did u guys put for the question that said somethign like what was different about the last paragraph (the one with margaret and letty or something)?
