to ssbands04: yeah i put b, although i was debating about c

I was wondering what was wrong with the writing section with the sentence
the snow, dropped by the wind, cover the something and sand with a…
i wasn’t sure what was wrong with the sentence

^ isn’t ‘snow’ a singular noun…so it would be ‘covers’?

why was it b and not a?

I have no idea… i also got A for that choice…

during the test i was actually turning my paper around to try to reflect it lol… luckily no one was watching

Ya that political CR section really freaked me out

^ That one was my favorite! Haha, it was so funny. It was just talking about how stupid people were. It outlines my views about people perfectly.

I think the two lines, how they were drawn threw me off. I don’t remember which letter I put but I just drew perpendicular lines for reflections and i think i ended up with a point on the leftmost side. The two slanted lines confused me.

I keep myself amused with passages by picking a side. The Robert Frost one was engaging, and the political ones were hilarious imo as well ;P

for the reflection of intersecting lines math problem, i honestly dont remember point a, but point b was reflected over line l such that if you connected point b with the original it would make a line with slope of l negated. and point c was the original on a line perpendicular to line l

the answer for the reflection was point b. its was reflected once over it think “m” and then that point was reflected over “l” which turned out to be point b.

its wasn’t point a because that was reflected the second time over “l” with the distance of “m” to the orignial point and not the distance of “l” to the original point.

^ Are you serious? By god, everyone has been telling me I’m an idiot cause I put point B but I spent 5 minutes figuring that out! If I got that right, 800 in Math! OMGGOMOGMOGMOGMGOMG YAREAHRHHH

Tommorrow at school I’m going to write down the question [I remember it in full] and ask this guy who got a 2400 on the January SAT what the answer is. I’ll report back then.

wat does that problem look like? i know which one ur talkin about but i don’t remember where point b (or whatever the correct answer was) was…

the lines were slanted, does that matter???

I drew it except its hard to write it with text only, lol. Line l was like the x axis just tilted a bit downward on the left, and it was the first to reflect across. Line m was the second to do so and it was like the y axis but tilted a bit to the right on the bottom.

Starting point was close to line m and far from line l in the 3rd quadrant.

Point B was inthe first quadrant far from line l but close to line m.

Point A was in the fourth quadrant.

For the last grammar section, there was a question, i think #12 which was like something about summer trails and biking or skiing and stuff…

i was deciding between a) than do and b) than does

does anyone remember this?

^ was that an experimental section question…?
i don’t remember it :X

No, it was section 10 for me.

and for the reflection point question in math…it was definitely point A

i think i got a different problem or somethin…cuz i remember the starting point in my problem was in the 4th quadrant…and i had to reflect it over the line that was like the y-ax and then over the other that was like the x-ax…so my answer was in the II quadrant

don’t tell me i read that question wrong…>_<
