Critical Reading: 740
Math: 710
Writing: 760 (Essay: 11)

1450/2210

Not bad for my first time, I suppose. I was hoping for a higher CR score. Quite content with the other two, though.

2180
Math:740
CR: 710
W: 730
taking ti again next year

PSAT:
math: 73

Total: 200

SAT:
M: 800
CR: 740
Writing: 670

Total: 2210

which proves that the PSAT is more difficult that the SAT, because I had no preparation [it's my first time yay]

anyone have advice on improving a writing score? I screwed up the multiple choice.

M:770
CR:800
W:760, 9/12 Essay

Sweeeet. With superscore, it's a 1580/1600. I'll take that.

PSAT: 229
SAT: 2180

I know that's not great, but is that good enough to qualify for NMF? My CR and Math scores were approximately the same, but my writing skills score dropped a bunch.

YEA.....

CR- 770
Math-790
WR-800

2360......

2190
CR 730
Math 800
Writing 660 (10 on essay).

Yeah, I hate grammar. My second time taking it, and I refuse to take another.

I'm guessing i COULD get a 2250+ on the third try... but I don't think its worth it.

PSAT 60 M 54 W 71 CR

SAT 710 M 700 W 670 CR (11 essay)

Kind of angry about my CR, I usually score better (closer to a 750), but ah well first time taking the SAT's, and it was worst case scenario for me with the words that they chose to test us on. And I am kind of amazed at my math, which I was sure was going to be my downfall going in.

And the PSAT is definitely not a predictor of SATs. How about that writing jump?

CR 680
Writing 790 (11 on the essay)
Math 770

I got a 211 on the PSAT lol

CR 800
M 720
W 710 (70 MC, 10 E)
:(. I'm retaking in June.

catalysis-what did you get on WR MC, 76?

Hey, so sorry for any of you who had to see this more than once, but I decided to copy my original post from a smaller results thread to this larger one that I found in hopes that maybe I could get a few opinions before my parents have me decide about retaking or not. Thanks so much for your time!

"Ok so I have a question:
I got a 2340 (800CR/800W/740M) and I'm wondering if it will look like math is my worst subject to science/math centered colleges. I got killed by that harsh curve because after the test I realized that I fat-fingered punching the question where you added up the college costs into my calculator and then I misbubbled one of those I, II, III questions (I hate that format, so annoying). So I normally get 800 math on practice tests and I've been studying calculus for almost three years now, and I was wondering if you guys thought it might be beneficial to retake so it doesn't look like my math is worse than my humanities, which it really isn't. This is the lowest math score I've had on any of the practices or real tests I've taken, and so I'm a little sad about it. However, I really like my overall score and I don't want to come off as obsessive for retaking a 2340. However, it does appeal to the perfectionist in me to retake because I was just two dumb non-math related errors from a 2400. What do you think I should do?"

max the question remains: do you want colleges to see that you got a 2340 in one attempt, or a superscored 2400 in two.

I just don't know...I mean hopefully it would show them that the math score was more of an anomaly if I got and 800 on a retake and had done really well in all of the other sections, but I'm not sure. Also, I heard that some colleges have people write your superscores on your report instead of having the admissions officers go through your collegeboard report to find them. If that's the case, then having the superscore would be at least marginally advantageous since so many people will take it more than once, right? If it were you, what would you do?
