***Official March SAT I Results***

Yes, essay score has been factored into writing.

one math mistake=770, pretty harsh.

Yeah, febreze. I've always scored right around 700 on CR on practice tests and on the PSATs...strange, but I guess the pressure proved to be a great motivation...

How bad does it look to colleges if my scores went down a little bit from my previous?

Supposedly most only see your superscore, so it shouldn't matter...

And if it was only a tiny bit anyone it won't really make a difference if they see it. Colleges know 50 points or so is only a couple of questions.

Seriously guys - what's the difference between 2290 and 2300? Should I take it again to push me over the magic mark?

Question...is it true that most colleges still only look at CR and Math? Because if so I might try to ignore the perfectionism and not retake...

2290 def won't keep you out of any colleges & will almost certainly help you at most...+10 isn't really significant, even though it makes a nice round number haha.

That said, if I were in your position, I might not be able to resist.....

I GOT A PERFECT 2400!!!! IT'S A DREAM!

03/2008 SAT Reasoning Test
Critical Reading 800 99%
Math 800 99%
Writing 800 99%
Multiple Choice 80 (score range: 20-80)
Essay 12 (score range: 2-12)

juenatics - congrats!!

Congrats juenatics!

I have another question, what essay score can you have to still get an 800 writing with perfect mc?

I test pretty well, so I didn't do much practicing, and I got an 800 CR/800 W/710 M. The 710 really throws me off because on both PSAT's I got an 80... I assume it was a careless error.

I don't think I'll be able to help myself but retake it. 710 would fall into the median range of the places I want to go, but it's on the lower end and I'm too obsessive compulsive to risk it.

I know colleges generally look at your best score from each section, so if I study a lot for math and get like an 800 M and 750 in the other two (for example), would that look good that I brought up math, or bad that the other(s) dropped?

hopefully most colleges only look at cr and math cuz then 1600 for me i rly screwed up in writing but i really cant get myself to take a 3 hr test just to improve my writing score

me got 2400!!!!!! with a 10 essay tho (the 80 grammar helped me)

i really hope this isnt a dream!!!!! lol

I GOT A 2400!!! I'm still just numb, in awe. 12 on essay too. Wow. Wow. Wow!!!!!

Congrats guys!! But how do you know what you got on your essay?

hi fhg -
got 800W with 80MC and 10 essay.
it broke down 800W, 770M, and 780CR = 2350.
Take it again...what are you, NUTS? no way!!!! I am VERY HAPPY.
Was 1 wrong 780 on CR? 1 know the 1 wrong on math - stupid reflection question!!!
Good luck to everyone, and enjoy a fun and relaxing spring break!!!!
