Wow you had identical results as me. I got a 1570/1600 (missed one on math for the 770, just like you) and got just about the same score for writing (680 instead of 690)

I dont know if I should retake for writing either :S

lol....that's kind of strange. I'm really not sure about writing. The more I think about it, the more I lean towards retaking it because I know I can do a lot better. I know if I'm careful (to avoid the careless mistake that got me the 770 this time) on math and on writing mc (I know I made a couple of dumb mistakes there, I usually do well on it), then I should be able to pull my super scored results up to at least 2330+, hopefully higher...

i hope colleges dont consider too much. one teacher said that they consider it as indication of english course placement.

I sincerely hope that isn't true because
I'm not an amazing writer or something but I do think I'm pretty good, and have done well in the hardest English course in our district, with arguably the most difficult teachers in the district, who has often commended my writing.
good writing can't be done in 25 minutes. what i write in 25 minutes is not any indication of my strengths as a writer. and they better at least be looking at the essay itself and not just the score, because that score definitely did not represent my essay

I hope the colleges that I apply to look at writing...that was my best section!

Writing: 700
Math: 640
Reading: 520 (***FF???)

I'm normally not that great in reading, but I still didn't expect it to be that bad. I'm definitely retaking in June, but does anyone have any tips on how to improve my Reading score?

Math - 640 (up from 52 PSAT =])
CR - 660 (55 PSAT)
W - 690, 9 on the essay :)
1990...ah..ten points away from a 2000!!!

CR 640
M 650
W 690

Ack. 10 pts shy of 1300, 20 shy of 2000.
How do I have a writing score without my essay scored yet?
I'm super surprised at my writing score... My practice tests were always in the high 700s.

January 2210
March 2100

Essay: 9 :

ah okay. It was the first time, i'll take it again. I expected the math score, it's definitely my worst.

whoever got like 750+ on any section and is complaining is just being extremely obnoxious. dont say im so mad i almost cried cuz i got 770. i thought i got 800. no one wants to hear that. and a 770 gets u in anywhere anyway

Wow, so many high CR scores and so many 800s...is it me or does it seem the CR passages or curve on the March test was very lenient, because I didn't take it and I was just scrolling through.

Man...I regret that I didn't take the March SAT...

I think the CR passages were like, best-case scenario for me. The questions and passages were understandable.

OMG, but I got an 800 on CR, usually my worst test on the SAT! Go Barrons 3500 Word List and Blue Book?

My essay score's kind of expected, with my freaking out near the end.

First time taking it. Wow.

780 writing
770 critical reading
760 math

yes!!!

CR 780
M 800
W 800
YAY ! first and last time taking this ! i'm so happy with my writing score; i thought i blew the essay !!

Did you guys need to buy the Score Report to get your essay score? It doesn't show me my essay score, just the total writing score.

2S4A0T0

scroll down and hit scores summary. or go to the main page and it should have a banner on top saying your march score is in, check it, then click on that

godi feel so bummed. i got a 2260 but i knew i coulda gotten like a 2350. The difference between these two scores are like 4 questions in the overall test. Is my score gonna hurt me for MIT and duke and cornell?

770 writing (10)
730 reading
660 math

Meh, numbers are stupid anyways. Wish writing mattered more...

Well....20 away from the magic 2100...
620 cr (+50 from last time)
720 math (-10 from last time)
740 writing 10 essay 72 mc (+70 from last time)

Honestly, I was really surprised with my writing being so high...but at the same time I thought I got 770(only missing 1) on math and I thought I did a bit better on cr...

I got a few questions...

Is there any chance that if I had them regrade math manually i could get higher?

Should I retake? (This was my 2nd try.) Are these really good enough for schools like for example UCLA/Berkeley?

Should I try to get a good score on the ACT instead...maybe aim for a 32, or no?

Thanks for helping me out :)

700 CR
660 Math
740 Writing

A-card, no, those scores are great. Schools know that the differences between those scores is only a few questions. The craziness on CC makes us all think differently...
