****Official March SAT Thread****

A-Card, do not worry. the barrons practice tests are NOT indicative of how you will do tomorrow. They are much harder than the real thing and you will never encounter alot of the problems that are in there. just relax

Same can be said for a lot of other non-College Board practice tests, too. On a side-note, good luck everybody, see you at the test center tomorrow. ;)

I'm praying for a 2250.

Critical Reading has been a PAIN to study for. No matter how much I study, I keep scoring in the low 700s. :[

Hopefully the curve won't be too harsh on us all.

I took January and blindly signed for March not realizing that I wouldn't have enough time to prepare and change drastically. I delayed it to June(wanted to do May, but June leaves me more time to learn more words), but I'll feel left out when people come back and start asking questions on CR and Math lol.

lol same here rahoul.

I just got back. How did everyone do? Did anyone think the test was easy? It seemed a lot easier than the Blue book tests.

i thought Math and writing were easy... but I think CR was hard

Yea, for someone who started studying 2 weeks ago, I felt it was not as hard as some of those bb questions.
But I had to rush on a couple sections, especially the last section because I misgrided.
But math was reaaaally easy. I finished each section with 10-15 min remaining.
The essay was alright.

i guess ill start out with the question asking lol
in math section
grid in
the one with the chart and the hours like 13-18 and 18 over and you had to find the difference
wat did u get for that

I felt like crying at the end, but I think I have a decent shot at 2300. But seriously, this is my 2nd taking taking it and my body is dead. >_<

I thought it was easy except for a couple of the CR sections. Does anyone know which section was experimental? Was it 6 or 7?

Hoping I didn't make any dumb mistakes on math especially, it was too easy...

7 definitely
i had math and the person next me with the same test had writing
lol i didnt even try for that one

well i was planning on taking it but my test center was closed even though the test center the next town over was open..owell

Thanks. I had CR and had some trouble with that one, happy to hear it doesn't count!

also..how do you guess which is the experimental section?

the guy next to me and I had the same exact test
the sections in the same order, same questions, etc
except for section 7 which i had math and he had writing
so it had to be 7

You can tell if someone had the same version of the test as you but that one section was different...

gary45...did the critical reading experimental section have a vocab question that was like, "ancient earthquake whose effects were so devastating that it was _____, or impossible to put into words?"

haha i got it wrong, so hopefully it was experimental!

I don't remember that question...

I had freeking two 35 question writing sections.
Section 1 = first 35 writing questions
Section 6 = second 35 writing questions
