****Official March SAT Thread****

the answers to it all began with “i”: they were like intractable, illusory, inimicable, ineffable, etc.

argh i had a 50-50 chance with that one and it was wrong! crit reading is my best section, so im really hoping that was experimental lol

I don’t think I had that question. Are there multiple CR experimentals?

I had a math experimental section, and I think I realized which one it was - it was a real ****, I left one question blank and got one wrong on it, but hopefully if I’m right and it was experimental that then I got a 800 on math. [Trapazoid]

well, if you don’t remember it at all, then it would have to be an experimental section because it wasn’t on your test…so i guess there are multiple cr experimentals?

Was the last 25 minute math section experimental? I think it was section 7 or 8?
the last question was like w+x +wx = 0… something like that…

I had two 35 question 25 min writing sections, does that mean one is experimental?

What you guys think the curve will be?

I think Math will be normal [-1 = 780, -2 = 760, -3 = 720

CR might be normal too, since the SC was a bit harder but passages were easy [-1=800, -2 =790…]

Writing, I have no idea

For me, I could tell that Section 7 was the experimental one. Even the first few in that section were pretty intense math questions.

Anyone else have like 3 questions referencing Hispanic women? AND my proctor was a Hispanic woman.

yo servedin, was that the section wiht like w+x +wx = 0. and the choices were like 1, 2, 3, and -1, -2 w and x are nonzero intergers.
can someone please answer me?

I think 7 was the experimental. I had math for it…

One CR passage was hard. All the others were easy.

I liked my essay prompt.

ruil, i remember that one too. it was right after the one about the concert with the jazz songs and the blues songs and everything. does anyone remember if that was the section 7 expirimental math?

pleeeeasssee be that one lol.. i thot the other math sections were pretty easy, especially hte last one, but the one with the blues/jazz and w+x+ wx=0 gave little trouble…

i didn’t have any math questions about blues/jazz or the w+x+wx, so i think that was def the math experimental…

was the experimental CR about nueroscience and talents?

it was so hard, but i cant remember if it was section 7

you guys had nixon one right?

I don’t remember a CR section about neuroscience.. I think..

thank goodness, i hope that was! the blues/jazz and the wx were the only two i had problems with too! lets hope that was it!

oh and i didn’t have any questions about neuroscience, talents, or nixon. Although one question earlier in the test mentioned the reporter on the watergate scandal.

uhh…i didn’t have the blues/jazz or wx questions AND i had an extra math section…

i think it was a t instead of an x, but i used an x because my t’s look like plus signs. it was like w+wt-t=0 or something and then what is the value of w? and the other one was like a guy plays at a concert and knows 3 blues songs, 3 jazz songs, and 3 classical songs. He needs to have 2 of each kind to play. how many combinations can he have?
