****Official March SAT Thread****

Would a 10-minute writing section be an experimental section?

Otherwise, I felt like I had too many math sections.

ejw2489, that was experimental.

interruptingcow… i had an extra math too and i didn’t have any of the jazz stuff either. did anyone have a section with triangles, quadrilaterals, and pentagons and how many pentagons are there if the amount of sides for all of the figures is equal to a certain amount? i don’t know if that was the experimental or not, but i really hope it was!

Doesn’t anyone remember the one about the area of the trapezoid? I’m almost certain based on my cross references with others that that one was the math experimental. It was with the one about the two circles with the square in the middle

eiei-it was experimental!

YES! thank you so much llewis999, you have no idea how happy this makes me feel!

I thought the Writing/Reading Comp. were easy today, but that’s probably because i go to Catholic school… disadvantage with math curriculum though… lol sucks because i want to be an engineer. Anyone else go to Catholic School and take accelerated math for all 3 years, thus forgetting most of that 7-8th grade SAT math stuff?

I had two 35 question writing sections
One of them had like horses compared to cow. The cow was the answer because of comparison error.
Anyone had that?

Infinite Truth, i remember the two circles and the square in the middle. that was my 2nd 25-min non grid-in math section (aka sec 7). is that the experimental section by any chance?

or was the section with the 1/2 10 pages per min and 1/2 20 pages per min (something like that) the experimental?

it seems like people got both questions i asked, which were in both sections for me…

i had critical reading as my experimental.
did anyone have a double passage about Venice?

I think my experimental was section 7, math. One question involved an equilateral triangle, right? I think the first few questions were slightly more challenging than average first questions.

I had no experimental section. LOL

Well, scores just came out? Did everyone do as well as they had hoped?

I missed more CR questions than I should have, and I made a STUPID mistake in math, resulting in a final score of:

CR: 740
Math: 770
Writing: 790
