Official Math 2C Thread

^Exactly, thats why I put a ray. I didn't think planes can intersect at a point even if they are three triangles because they are going on forever. Also was the other answer choice line or line segment? I don't remember.

Yeah x was 2, f(2) was 3, and f(3) was 6 if I remember correctly

Wasn't a helicopter, a plane I think it was....option e is right, whatever it was

The bee square miles question answer was E, 16.@#%@

since the square mile doubles, 2^16.$#%@# is the only answer

that is over 100,000 or something.

The answer for the 3 planes. CANNOT be a point.

the plane is INFINITE. I heard that from my CALC teacher for like hundred

times and I got it wrong. So what IS the answer,,, :(

sounds good

Yup 16.667 is correct for that one

If the answer is line i would be thrilled, coz then i think i completely aced it. I'm just saying what a friend told me.

also...question = which one is not equal
log5 10 =

Even if you got one wrong, you would have still gotten an 800 so it wouldnt matter!

Well, how did you think of the test?

Do you think the curve will be the average 43,

or will it be higher? like 45 :( If you get 5 wrong, you fall to 790 if

it's a 45.

Was it hard? Was it average?

I really hope the curve is generous!!

http://kr.cs.ait.ac.th/~radok/math/mat2/ch843.jpg

There it is a point.

i thought the test was ok until maybe the last 15, which then got very hard and long and I wasn't able to get to some. I would think it would be 43, probably not a worse curve than that though I could be wrong.

Just consider a three dimensional graph. A plane on the xy side, another on the yz side and the third one on the xz side except that it does not go along the axis. The three planes intersect at the origin, which is a point. I can picture it in my head, though it is hard to use words to describe it...

but it still extends, im convinced its a line only...but i have no idea...neone know for sure?

YEAH, you're a GENIOUS!!!

I actually chose ray, line & point but my friends told me that

it cannot be a point 'cause it's infinite.

Now I see it CAN. THANX!!!

I know it can definitely form a ray.

but there were no answer choice with ray&point.

so, the answer is ray, line, & point!!

YEAH!!!

How can it be a ray? Where would the endpoint be?

I did not include ray in my answer. Psycho, did you put ray?
I don't see how ray could work...

haha....my page had not updated yet. Ignore that question!

Sorry, you cannot form a ray.

I had it wrong, I just said line.

yeah it was line and point...next question

um anyone rmbr anything about log problem with the k and x. I put A which was -k

anyone agree

I had it wrong too - put line and ray. I thought it could be ray because it could go infinitely...man. I can see it in my head but cannot describe it. Now I see how it could be a point too.
