I also put for the radical t question part of a parabola...but yes that was strange.

I went for those as well:
a>0
Part of parabola

For some odd, strange reason, the first question always trips me up. I mean, I always get them right, but they take me a while to figure out how to solve. Weird.

Anyway, I'm more amazed at how you guys can remember all the questions than any scores. I remember like 3 questions...

Question: Are we allowed to discuss questions, NEway.
I saw that we are allowed to discussafter a certain time
so I started posting all these things, but is it okay with the collegeboard?

ROOT t, t is half a parabola.

i didnt see that on my test.

lol

What was the first question? Also what was the last one?

Also the question with numbers 5 and 5 to be added to the list, was it on the IIC or IC?

That was IIC.

what is the 2nd question again, anyone remember?

i just figured out that root t, t is the same as x,x^2. i was gonna guess parabola too but decided not to

wait - so it IS a parabola right?

Second question was the parabola (ax^2 + bx + c) opening upwards

if 5 and 5 were added wouldn't that change the mode?

It would make the mode 5 because there are three 5's and make the median 5, which is the answer.

Joe, for the second questions, A > 0 otherwise it would just be a line.

i thought we were supposed to keep the mode the same as before and not the same as the median. i hate these test writers

merudh123 thats what i put
klog(base5)x
f(5)-f(25)=-1
set k equal to 1

What was number 50? The question was if sin(A)=X^2, and 0<A<(pie/2), what is sin(2A)?

I put 1/((2X^2)(Root(1-X^4)))

I just plugged in Pie/4 for A

i got b for that

"The question was if sin(A)=X^2, and 0<A<(pie/2), what is sin(2A)?"

Well sine(2A)=2sinAcosA

cos^2a+sin^2a=1 so cosa=Sqrt[1-sin^2a]

Thus, sin2a= 2(x^2)Sqrt[1-x^4]

I'm pretty sure that's right.

Dang it! I should have plugged in pie/3 than pie/4, oh well. Does it makes a difference to Ivys if you get a 780 besides an 800?

How do i join AIM chat!?
