i got 15 subsets too!

Hey everyone, there was this question on the total amount of sales that a girl needs to make in order to earn 300$.. anyone remember the exact question?
i believe the answer to be 5000... anyone comment?

patrick was i right
?

the answer was $1667 because she only needed to get .06X = $100

I'm quite confused and I fell really dumb but can someone explain to me how the curve works?

Oh crap, I didn't read the question right... How unfair is this!

damn.. I am exhausted from the test...
Luckily the test was far easier than I thought...
Meylani's book gave me a bad feeling for the test

Are you sure it's .06 and not .02

yeah it's 0.06

very sure, it said 6 percent commission

The answer was 1,667 for sure.

whats a good score for math 2? if the school doesnt require SAT II's, would a 750 be a good enough score to send?

definately 750 is an outstanding score

Great! Bye-bye 800...

For 49 did you guys get d? i'm not sure of the EXACT answer for that one, i think its 8/11 but i know i put d.. it was the one with the probably of picking a number >1 if the number was btwn 7/8 and 4/3.

also - what was the one with the guy and his wife driving?
i think i put |10t+60|..

Even I got 8/11 but I ain't too sure about that...

And it would help if you could remember the exact question about the dude and his wife, but from what I remember it was |10t-60|

for the guy and wife, i made T = 7, so if the guy was driving at 50 mph, he went 350 miles. His wife went an hour later, so she drove for 6 hours at 60 mph for 360 miles

I picked Choice A, because it was |10T-60|, and when i plugged in T for 7, it works as the distance between them. (360-350 = 10)

oh it was a man starts driving to another city at 50 mph. an hour later, his wife starts driving at 60 mph, same direction. what is the distance btwn them?

and now that i think of it i think i did put |10t-60|. thanks!

I used another pair, i belive T = 10 and got the same thing when the distance between them was 40, and 10X10 - 60 = 40 so im quite sure about that answer

Yeah I also got 8/11 for 49 (or something like that).

Just a few offhand I remember:
1) f(x) = -x is the same as the function's inverse.
2) largest divisor of three numbers, 72 (ughh hard!!) - another answer was also 72 but I don't rememebr the question

The only one I didn't get was the one where it was like f(x,y,z) = (y,0,z) , g(x,...etc etc. Can anyone explain that to me? It's prolly much easier than I made it out to be.
