Official MATH discussion doe US -November

@biovball, no it was definitely not experimental. I had CR experimental and had that question.

Can anyone explain how you got 162 degrees for the pentagon question?

360/5=72, 72+72+(72-54)=162

It was 5sqrt(2) - 5.

anyone know answer for temperature function question please

It was y = ((m)/(300)) * -2.5 + 20

Where are you getting 360 at?

I thought it was (5-2) * 180 to get the total degrees of the shape, which equals 540.

540 / 5 = 108

108 * 2 = 216

216-54 = 162

Same answer different process.

Lolol is right for the Celsius question.

what do you guys think the score is for one wrong MC, one omitted

Wait… what was the temperature Month question asking again?

rain-4 in absolute value bars …answer was feb

I got the 5 sq rt 5 - 5 one right I think even though I guessed! YAY!

The temperature at the base of a mountain is 20 degrees Celsius. If a traveler goes up the mountain, the temperature drops 2.5 degrees Celsius for every 300 feet traveled up the mountain. Which algebraic equation will express “y” as the temperature and “x” as the number of feet traveled?

It showed five different equations.

The correct one was y=(m/300)*-2.5 + 20.

And does anyone know the answer to the one about the perpendicular lines? It said AB was perpendicular to BC. If line segment DC is 10, and AB is half of DC, how long is BC? Or something like that.

sqr(100-25)==> 5sqr(3)

I’m confused about the r-4 question. What exactly was the graph showing?

cumulative list of sat math: https://www.■■■■■■■■.com/questions/367?title=November+SAT+1+Test+Questions+and+Answers%2C+■■■■■■■■.com

I think BC was 5root3, because it sounded like a 30-60-90 triangle.

Gosh… Missed. 1. I think.
The pentagon I put 18 because I didn’t see that y thing down there…
Pressured test stress.

does anyone remember the question that was like “last week a store sold twice as many seats as recliners. this week they sold 4 less seats than they did last week, and 3 less recliners than they did last week. between the two weeks they sold 53 recliners and seats. how many seats did they sell this week?”

i couldnt solve it at all…
