Official May 2008 SAT discussion

How do you guys think it was difficulty wise?

The writing was really easy, the CR was pretty easy, and the Math was not that bad except I omitted two.. S.O.B...... the math was probably average to little below average.

Writing was usual... easy.
CR was hard.
Math was ... meh. Average.

omitted 4 math -_-

The rest was easy

Are we actually allowed to discuss answers now that the embargo is lifted?

yeah we can discuss now

No specifics though

edit.......

which writing did you guys think was the experimental one? The one with the correct paragraphs about the dad who makes her daughter bring firewood, or the one about telegraphs and ships?

Is the writing section always the one that's experimental?

I don't recall the dad + daughter one? Maybe I was just out of it. lol

The ship one was easy though.

Yea, I don't either...^ (thankfully)...

The experimental was the 2nd CR section...

Uhh, i think we have different experiementals? My experiemental was a math section. I'm not sure which one though..hoping the one i omitted questions in lol.
I'm assuming the dad + daughter one is your experimental cuz that one was not on my test...the ship/telegraphs one was.

Thank god the essay prompt wasn't something odd or out of the blue.
I didnt think any sections were that bad except i omitted some CR sentence completions..grr @ vocab!

^ The essay section was really ... frown-worthy. But I managed to provide a literary and historical example. Phew!

(Sorry for forgetting we have different exp.)

Wait, experimental isn't the last section is it? I had a writing passage for my last section, and it was really easy. (everyone had the same section last)

Essay went well here, although I didn't come up with a literary example >.<

is the ship/telegraph one the later of the 2 writing sections (excluding the last one)?

I think so.. one of the questions was about the line involving "email", I said delete the line. idk >.>

^ It WAS delete the sentence.
I'm 100% sure about it. :)

:D

+1 lol

thank GOD the ship/telegraph was the real writing - it was mad easy compared to the other writing section with the built table or w/e.
