gashawnesro,

do you remember what question 22 was about? I think I put the same answer but I want to be sure

gashawnesro,

do you remember what question 22 was about? I think I put the same answer but I want to be sure

^it was in the double passage.i put A which is they publicly denounced lamphan,i think.i don't remember the exact phrasing.

also was less accusatory choice C ?
was evenhanded choice B?

gashawnesro, the publicly denouncing answer was what I put... it was talking about the people in line 36 who were against lamphan and the hikers in the first paragraph...the question asked the difference between those two groups and the answer was that the people (line 36) publicly denounced lamphan.

i don't remember which answer was which but I know I but less evenhanded, and i'm positive that's the right answer.

did anyone else have two math grid-in sections? do you know which one is experimental?

collegeboard always posts which section was experimental within a week after the test i think but they haven't posted it yet...

i think less evenhanded was choice B. and less accusatory was choice C.

^did u put shrewd financial decisions

i put the one about appealing more to parents...everyone's been arguing between that one and the shrewd financial decisions. i think it was one of those evil questions where there really are two good answers....
i do still think the parents answer was more right though because they only talked about one financial decision and that was making the tickets less expensive....i think the focus of the passage was more on appealing to adults, and parents fall into that category.

did anyone NOT put fundamental for that lake question? i put demure.

and did anyone put something about forestalling or forerunning with hiranguing or something. i honestly forget what that H word was. It was the same question with the antecedent and derivative one.

lock i am with you.attracting parents is the most convincing answer.
why are you so sure about evenhanded?i thought less accusatory was an equally plausible answer

i put fundamental.pretty sure about it.

forerunner was not the anwer I put.Do u remember the other choices

1 wrong in math (no prob got perfect already)
5 wrong 2 blank in CR (GROWL want that perfect CR score :()
2 wrong and 8-10 essay (already got the PS in here as well)

took it for no reason I think i did worse in the CR than I did before poop...

here is a definition of demure from dictionary.com

Of sober or serious mien; composed and decorous in bearing; of modest look; staid; grave.

shrewed decisions is correct. The circus eliminated animals (sharply reduced expenses) and marketed for adults which allowed raising the tickets' prices.

less accusative does not work. it is describing passage two in relation to passage 1. passage 2 is less evenhanded. not less accusatory.

^the question said "compared to passage 2 passage one is..."

gashawnesro, less accusatory would only have worked if the question had asked how passage 1 compared with passage 2. but it asked how passage 2 was compared with passage 1 and it was definitely MORE accusatory. passage 1 was more subtle.

there was no choice which said less evenhanded.it was more even handed.
rinne read what i wrote in post #573

wait, just to confirm,

was the answer to the first question of that passage lampham or the people?

it was less evenhanded, i'm 100% sure.

i put "the people" because it contrasted the feelings of the hikers

second less evenhanded

no i didn't have any CR passages about Roosevelt
