Hey. hopefully this thread works out, and people actually post on it... So I wanted to know all the words that anyone can remember from the test, and what the right answers were. Thanks!

cacophonous, anomaly, tacit...

that's the extent of my memory at the moment

was cacophonous the answer?

antipode was the answer to one of the CR

I remember 'diffidence' - I had read the meaning in the morning and it came as a long reading choice :D

I agree with sumi.

What did you get on the jane question?

Yeah cacophonous was the answer, because it said "even the least experienced members were abashed" so the symphony evidently sounded bad.

also, all the other choices were synonymous.

I'm positive that tacit and cacaphonous were the right answers to those two question, not 100% sure about anomaly.

Nice, I got those questions right. There were some other hard ones, but they were all pretty much on this one page, the first page of a reading section.

Anomaly was correct, I got tacit and cacolongword, antipode I chose too, not sure about diffidence

I thought the vocab was really easy and I never even studied =P

I'm pretty sure it was anomaly, because the sentence was about how there weren't a lot of female scientists - the field was male dominated etc. An anomaly is, "a deviation from the normal or common order or form or rule"

yea i don't think diffidence was the answer.. does anyone remember the question

I don't think diffidence was the answer. Was it?

any1 remember for the bear one
aggressive and placid

Pretty sure that diffidence was not an answer. Anomaly made the most sense for the other one too. Hmm...the one I remembered most was the antipode question.

yup i picked that one

Yeah, I got aggressive/placid for the animal question

I agree with the agressive..placid one

i'm pretty sure it was anamoly

i think i knew that word from watching 24

I got that too!
