Official McGill Class of 2011 Admissions Decisions

Someone requested this, so voila, a place to post your decision when you have it. I'm a US applicant and not up on any of the Canadian requirements, so if anyone from outisde the US has extra stuff, of course add it!

P.S.--So this doesn't get crowded, how about just using this one for posting decisions and use the "decisions" post for questions?

Here's the code; make sure to eliminate the spaces in the brackets before posting!

General Comments: Wohoo!

I just want to say congrats to you all. My son is at McGill and he is very very happy. I know you all will be happy as well.
Good luck to you all.

P.S. Bundle up! My son tells me that it is so cold that he is wearing two pairs of gloves.

Ditto what Brooklyn Mom said - my daughter is a senior at McGill and she loves it. She turned down NYU, Johns Hopkins, and U. Michigan, among others, to attend McGill and has never regretted it.

Biggreen--why did she choose Mcgill over NYU? im in the same predicament myself...don't know which to choose

If my D goes to McGill (she's a jr) I promised to buy her all the down and long johns she wants. The weather in Pittsburgh is giving her an example of what it's like...and she's not liking it. Seriously, long underwear makes a HUGE difference when it's this cold!

last year a bunch of people found out february 9th....thats tomorrow!

not that we can really base anything on last year... but im still hoping!

Pumpkin, why'd you have to mention that? Now I'm gonna be nervous/excited ^^;;.

my dean talked to one of the admissions officers today and she says that they are behind on processing apps, so i wouldnt expect much.

** Other Factors:**
General Comments:Still waiting for my decision from the faculty of science, but YAY!!! I'm visiting next month... I'm so excited!!!! ^_^

My son received a scholarship to NYU and turned it down for McGill. Now, he is a NYC kid so being in NYC was not a big deal for him as he lives here. But he just found the program and the environment more to his liking at McGill in Montreal.
