I applied for the Major scholarship knowing it would be a long shot and my status is also “not awarded” for reason “not awarded.” The wording makes me think that’s a no, but their website says you get a notification (email i’m guessing?) within 1-2 weeks letting you know if you got the scholarship or not. “Not awarded” has been the status on minerva since my admission status changed so either they haven’t made a decision or i was so far below the cutoffs that they rejected me already (wouldn’t be surprised or even that disappointed tbh lol).

Also i think someone wanted to know the time between submitting semester grades and getting a decision so: I submitted thusday night and got in friday morning at 10ish.

congratz to everyone else and good luck to those who haven’t heard yet!

I’m confused. I called McGill and they told me that the Admissions office do not consider APs in making their decision. They only look at GPA and test scores. Yet many of you have written down AP scores. Why? Did you submit them? I didn’t.

AP scores have never been a factor in the admissions decision at McGill.

@kn0wledge‌ That was pretty much the conventional format used here I guess. AP scores are not factored in.

Can those of you who have already submitted your acceptance statistics tell us how long after submitting your
1st semester grades you received your decision? And also any further input on the amount of time it takes to receive a decision after submitting 1st semester grades would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

@ironman234‌ Mine took like 3 days. Others have gotten it as early as the next day.

Still wondering about the Major Scholarship though…

@chilliums‌ for some reason mine hasn’t come in yet, I sent in my semester grades about five days ago and the decision has stayed the same as It was before, which says “further review required”…? Any thoughts on what this means and when I should expect to hear back?

@ironman234‌ I’m sure you’ll have it by Friday! I saw my status had changed at around like 3PM on a Friday. Shouldn’t be later than that hopefully!

Accepted last night to Bachelor of Arts program. Submitted most of my stuff in early January but actually forgot to send my ACT until around 5 days ago.

[] ACT: 29 (34 in English which was probably important because I’ll be a non-STEM major)

I submitted my mid year grades the other day, and found out I was accepted in less than 24 hours

I received a “Review-Decision Pending” notification, and I have no idea what this means? How long before they
can give me a definitive answer? Thanks

I was asked to upload my IGCSE and AS level certificates a week ago, and I did so very promptly. My decision still says “Further-review required” tho. Does anyone have any idea how long the take to review applicants doing A Levels ?
