she did not get an letter but an email came about 12 hours later.
Fingers crossed!

I auditioned January 27, I’ll keep checking. Thank you!

Waitlisted to faculty of life science and faculty of natural science :frowning: smh this was my first choice. What should I do way to get off the waitlist?

Where on Minerva do you find the admission decision/status?

Just got waitlisted, had to check Minerva!. Oh well

Hi @steelbeamdreams My D is applying from US. Scores-- 4.31 W GPA. SAT 2190 (750 M) 33 ACT (which she only took for McGill because she needed it to fulfill their requirements- she isn’t going to take her AP physics test until later this year) 9 APs. Good amount of ECs.

@PowerPuffGirl2016

Here are the admission standards for American applicants to McGill: http://www.mcgill.ca/applying/how-we-make-decisions/minimum-grades-used-admission-previous-years/unitedstates

First off, ECs are irrelevant, acceptance is pretty much a numbers game: they take the applicants with the best grades and test scores (in addition to having the required credits for the area they are applying to). Grade 9 marks aren’t counted, only 10, 11 and 12. Admission has a bit of a reputation of being a checklist: none of the standards are individually super-high but they want a successful applicant to pass all of the standards. If you meet or exceed all the requirements listed you should get in with little difficulty, if you miss one or two you might end up getting wait-listed.

Hey everyone! I couldn’t find a thread for results for the class of 2020 so I decided to create one. Good luck to all applicants! Here’s the format:

Remove the spaces after each initial bracket.
For example, change [(space) text] to [(no space) text] before posting. If you aren’t sure of the format, click “preview” before you submit. The decision should be in color, and there should be bullet points for each of the qualifications given.

[ b]General Comments: life goal achieved

did you have to submit your grade 11 marks???did u apply before or after u got your grade12marks???

You need to submit your grades for junior year and likely sophomore year as well. What start date are you applying for? I believe he fall term for 1026 is done as far as applications. They also will want your grade 12 grades, SAT/ACT scores etc.

@jmathew034 - sorry for all those typos. Not even sure how 1026 happened. If you are applying for this coming fall, I do believe it is too late because there are people waiting to get off of the waitlist. If you are an American student, you will need your junior year grades to be followed up by your senior year when they are available. Since that sounds weird to you, I’m thinking maybe you aren’t in the US.

Guys, I was waitlisted. I’m wondering if there’s any point in/any way that I can go ahead in updating the university with new grades and relevant academic accolades?

Go ahead, @haprstya0jC019 !
