submitted my app, had a problem with the word limit, but hopefully i’ll be ok.

it feels wonderful to have that stress put off my shoulders. Now im just waiting on my admissions decision. i really hope that i get accepted, this wait is killing me.

MY OSU app status has been evaluation for 2 months now, the wait is killing me

classy19, my S has had evaluation status since 10/10, application was complete 9/24, so you are not alone! Are you OOS or in state? Fingers crossed! :)

did anyone else get the e-mail today from Toni R thanking them for taking the time to apply? When my D showed it to me my first thought was that it was a “thanks but no thanks” rejection…but then she ends it with we will talk to you soon??? Fingers crossed it was just her keeping in touch and that answers will come soon…

Hope2help, my D got the same email. I wouldn’t worry at all about it. I think it is encouraging any kind of communication like this.

@nova88 I’m oos

I’ve officially promised myself I will not check my application status until the week I get back from winter vacation.

broke my promise, oh well.
officially admitted, now i just have to wait on the status of this scholarship. this truly determines if i can go to osu. hopefully i can at least get prominence.

I emailed Toni Ramirez, and she said we would receive our decisions the first week of march if we were accepted into the university by December 1st. Just in case you were wondering :)

nice, thanks for the information

prettysing, any chance you can elaborate on that email from Toni? I noticed last year students started finding out about full tuition scholarships the first week in January, interviews first week in February, and full ride scholarships announced in March

Arismom2012, her exact words were:

All those admitted on Dec 1st and have complete applications will be notified the first week of March.

Has anyone had troubles in creating a new online application? My D tried to register an new applicant this afternoon. However she had not received an email about a link for setting a password for her account. Usually it should only take a few minutes to receive an email. Should we call the office. Thanks!!!

@holly123

you should probably call the office

the update email from Toni today was needed, now I just have to be patient andwait for March.

The wait continues…

I can’t wait for this wait to end. OSU is my top choice now and attending is going to be near impossible without some sort of scholarship.

Our DD just got letter congratulating her on being awarded Provost Scholarship to OSU. Anybody know if that means she’s no longer in the running for the Morrill? I sent an e-mail to Toni Ramirez but no word yet. And yes, the waiting is VERY hard…

I still think she’s in running for morrill, she should be able to stack it with the morrill.

@whateverhappens

I’m in the same boat, scholarship money is key for me to be able to attend OSU.

I think Morrill is independent of any other scholarship as long as you don’t go over the cost of attendance.
