hmm…i believe student court is apart of AS, so you should get priority.

from here:

ASSOCIATED STUDENTS

* The AS Senate meets every Tue. & Thu. from 3-5 p.m
The AS Executive Board meets every Tue. at 5 p.m.
Inter-Club Council (I.C.C.) meets every Mon. from 1-2 p.m.
Student Court meets every Monday from 5 p.m.-6 p.m.

All meetings are held in Building 9C, Room 5.

im not sure how updated that is. but i was apart of the ICC meetings every monday and they do meet in 9C, but not room 5 anymore.
so i think you will want to go to 9C to talk to the student services center for more info on student court because i dont know anyone from it…i do know some AS senate people and some ICC stuff, but not student court :(

Assuming I can get approval, it looks like I’ll be taking 22 credits in fall by adding Chinese I. Just hoping my honors application is approved soon so that I can switch English, Microeconomics, and Astronomy over to honors.

To anyone who may know I know that priority is given to those with more units and that you achieve sophmoer status when you complete 30 units. Could one reach this level if they transfer units in from another college or must they be completed at Mount Sac? I have been trying to get aero classes for the CTI-Program but classes always fill up.

yup ur right you do get seniority. but even as a sophomore i still had trouble getting classes.

you can complete the credits anywhere as long as they are equivalent courses at the corresponding CC’s. to my knowledge this is most GE courses and you should be a sophomore regardless of where you take them.

ill have to check up on that and get back to you for a clear answer.
but im leaning with yes. campus is closed today, so ill def let u know asap.

If I have already been assigned a registration date for the Fall 2010 before submitting my transcripts will I have to keep that date or will they move it up?

NOOOO!! I am so mad, I e-mailed a while back and was told that only units taken at
Mt SAC were counted towards registraion dates. Looks like I will be waiting until next semester to take the classes I really need.

oh jeez. i hope i didnt give you the wrong info. i think i read your post wrong.
because im not 100 percent sure. so you have units at different CC’s? and they told you only units taken at mtsac give you seniority? that blows!!! ***!

wow didnt know that…hmm…does this count to your class standing as well?

and no no no! you do not have to wait till next semester. just be really persistent and refresh every minute and try to get those classes. trust me it works!

what classes are you trying to get? obviously some are harder than others but its def not time to give up!

@aa - its possible…but if you only need that ONE class she might just tell you to wait. id still give it a shot anyway to see if theres any hope. if not just take it during the winter i guess…

when i needed 1CH, along with every other honors student…, they opened up another 1CH class last minute :)

Hello again! Thank you for your detailed responses! You clarified a lot of things for me! Hopefully, I’ll be able to finish in a year and head out over to wherever I end up. I’m still confused about one thing though. So on my Mt. Sac account, it says that I will be able to register between Aug 06, 2010 from 06:00 am to Dec 12, 2010 11:59 pm.
Is there any way that I can register earlier than that? And also when I register, do I have to head out over to Mt. Sac on the 6th and register there or can I just register online? And can I pay for all of the fees online too? Sorry for all of these questions… I’m freaking out right now because I’m planning on visiting the east coast next month for about a week and a half and I don’t want to cancel that trip just for registration… I’m hoping that all of this stuff can be done online…
