**OFFICIAL Mt SAC CC TRANSFER THREAD**

@churroke, what was your uc gpa after senior year?

I have a 3.4 weighted GPA.

BTW anyone who’s planning to take a Political Science class…STRONGLY RECOMMEND : Dr. Allen …his lecture goes beyond the book and help you approach a better understanding of how this world really functions. One of the only History class where the knowledge can actually apply to the real world. LOVE THIS CLASS! :D

Anybody get a mt sac associated students membership sticker in the mail today? I dont recall paying for this lol

haha I got one…I just stick it on my card. save 15 dollars on Disney and Knotts :D

@blueskin…did you call ucr? What did they say?

@jet - good find. :smiley:
interesting stuff…

@blackmamaba - you paid 11 bucks for it. you can get discounts on food in the surrounding area, tickets, and you get free scantrons/bluebooks on finals week :D

theres plenty of perks so just gotta find them. you also have to have this fee paid if u want to be an officer of a club.

@ dainese: I just checked my schedule/receipt and it said $11. haha I guess they automatically charged it… lol

Anyone here apply for book scholarship? Damn the deadline passed :frowning:
http://www.mtsac.edu/students/finaid/scholarships/2010_fall_scholarship_application.pdf

@churroke same thing as you. what they check is your overall gpa, that’s why i asked what yours was. soo, i’m pretty sure i’m going back next year. are you going to give them a call next month churroke?

@blueskin…I haven’t call them yet. Did they tell you what the requirement is to apply for next year?

@blackbamba…the book scholarship is more selective than it’s said on the application. You can’t be granted with Fafsa and other grant. I apply…they rejected me on email the next day.

^ Oh I see… kinda dumb then. People who arent eligible for fafsa/grant are probably rich anyway… haha

@Churroke If you met all first time freshman requirements from high school then you can apply, but dont get lower than 2.0 gpa in your transferrable college coursework. I’m gonna go for it. Its too hard to get classes at pcc!!!

@blueskin…go for it! I hope you’ll make it! :)

churroke are you gonna go back to ucr next year??

hi! i was wondering when registration begins for winter intercession? and also, is the registration process the same as the one for fall?

@ isaberra: November. Yes it is same process.

Blackbamba…it’s only winter right? Not both winter and spring?? And
Do you know the exact
Date in nov?

@ Churroke: Just winter… it was an error printed…
