@ fredsfam Texas’ cutoff is 216. See post #582. Congratulations to your son!!!

If anyone needs more information, I’m here if you want to send me a message.

So this is a bit of a mess.

If everyone who knows the cutoff score for any state with certainty would post them, I am sure we can recover what was lost.

For MN, 213 is the cutoff.

Since MA and NJ are both now in and they agree with the NE boarding schools, I will consider this the highest cutoff and also assign it to the internationals and DC.

saismom, post #582 is different than it was an hour ago. That’s why people don’t know the cutoffs anymore.

Also I think ND was 200 but I’m not 100% on that.

Descartesz, I do not know how reliable it is because I do not have the reference post numbers, anymore. However, here is what I have.

I guess, if someone knows they made NMSF with a lower score, they should point it out and we can make changes accordingly.

Thanks, saismom! NMSF will help us out tremendously, as several of the schools my DS are considering have fantastic scholarships even for SF.

Just curious, why was a post deleted?

Ohio is correct at 212.

Soo… have any NJ’ers gotten their letters/contacted by counselors yet? Still haven’t heard anything with a 225 haha.

IN says 211 on post 626 but 212 on post 624? My kid got a 211 so does anyone know which is correct? (Hoping for the latter post
!)

I think a number of my SC friends scored over 208 and didn’t get recognized. :/

Has anyone from KY been informed of the cutoff?

perazziman ~ I like to take notes…the state cut off scores look correct to me.

smoore, we do not know, since I have deleted the post reference numbers. So, we are just assuming it is 211 until someone tells us they did not make it with a 211.

We are in UT, the school generally has between 15-20 semifinalists a year. This year, according to the guidance , we have a record number. However, the scores won’t be released till September 19 Will keep you posted !

Perazziman, your scores look correct. (Sorry… My reference numbers disappeared!) But they look correct to me.

Does anyone know if Guidance Counselors receive this information at different times? We’re in VA and DS scored a 218 which appears to be right at the cutoff. I emailed his counselor this morning to see if she had any information and her entire reply was “Not yet”. It doesn’t seem reasonable that there are this many people posting about receiving confirmation and our school doesn’t know yet. We have a good relationship with her so I wouldn’t have expected her to put me off, especially when I included the qualifying score from this thread in my email.

Patesq–Also in VA (FFX County) and still no word. Giving it until tomorrow before following up on emails since it is the first week of school and they are a bit swamped. Son should have qualified and he wants to get a couple of apps off next week or so to key schools, but waiting on official confirmation.

yes the infor was mailed out end round last week of aug. here in fl school started the 20th of aug yet they just rcvd the info this week. dd guidance counselor emailed me to let me know she made it
