the teammate who beat hibbert out for POY was jeff green, sry for not saying

I also have Washington State over Georgetown. I'm not saying I know more than you guys, but I probably do ;)

This is the last post I make in this thread until the tourney starts, here's some last minute bracket hints, though:

1) Can a team with a Princeton offense really make the Final Four?
2) Can Wisconsin score enough points to be a good? This may sound too simple, but are they capable of outscoring anybody decent? Especially a certain team who plays a ton of pressure man and shoots a lot of threes. And then if they happen to get by this team can they beat a team who has four guards better than Wisconsin's second?
3) As always don't determine your Cinderella by who you like, determine it by who you don't like. Find a pod with two higher seeded teams you think are weak and then take one of the mid majors and put them through. Here's another clue, this will be a team from a conference who has won it's first round game in I believe two of the first three years.
4) Look at that BYU/Xavier matchup and once you determine a winner, start matching them up against their second round opponent. You might be thinking a lot about things in that corner of the bracket.
5) Look at scoring defense and the past champions (except North Carolina). There's literally only three or four teams that fit the mold to make a title run.

Hey Ecliptica, stop copying Dyenimator on Dyestat.

Not Dyenimator, it's FIRE CHIEF.

i've all the 1st seeds in the final four....but i know that almost never happens

It actually has NEVER happened.

I'm picking Kansas to go all the way and win it.

Wisconsin down to Georgia Tech? Wisconsin could very well be the first #2 to go down.

I'm also going with Kansas this time; they're gonna make it.

Guys, the Pac-10 is NOT overrated this year! They have sucked before, but this year is different.

Butler I think will be the 5 seed that falls this year. They have been riding on early season victories all year, and Old Dominion has the non-conference experience to take them out.

Although I still have Ohio State winning it all since I am an avid Buckeye fan, Georgetown has the best shot at winning the tournament this year. Thanks to early year injuries and blunders, they have flown under the radar and landed a 2 seed. They are definitely the hottest team entering the tournament, pouncing the Big East (IMO the best conference this year). Florida may have won the national championship, but they haven't been playing consistent enough and their SEC tournament win is meaningless because of the lack of true competition there.

Oh, and Drexel deserved to get in over Arkansas. I mean seriously, if you let Arkansas in (18-13), that means you have to let in NC State, another subpar record team who somehow made it to the finals of their conference tournament. NC State's tournament was MUCH harder for that matter.

Just curious, did/does anyone ever root against a school to do well in sports before you apply, to reduce competition in admissions?

Yea Drexel did deserve to get in the tournamnet over Arkansas. As well as Syracuse. I dont know how Arkansas even got in. And no i dont think i've done that OceanPoet.

drexel just lost to NC state at home in NIT first round!

Maryland, Louisville, Boston College are in the field of 32 :D yeah

Stanford = shouldn't have been in.

Drexel was completely demoralized after not getting in to the NCAA. What motivation do they have for the NIT? None.

Stanford, what a joke.

Oral Roberts put up a good fight. And well played by VCU.

So far ranked #1... along with thousands of other people. :)

My Final 4: Florida, UCLA, Texan A&M, and Geogetown.
Champion: FLorida beats Georgetown!!

My Final 4 are Kansas, Wisconsin, Georgetown, and Ohio St. And Kansas beat Ohio St.

My final four are UCLA, Florida, Georgetown, and Tennessee.

I've got Southern Illinois (yes, SI), Florida, Texas, Ohio State.

Final: SI vs. Texas (2 4 seeds) - winner, Texas.

is anyone else watching this wisconsin game? they are about to ruin my bracket
