Is this list the overall acceptance?? I mean both ED1, ED 2 and RD? if not I think someone should take the liberty of compiling for the students of next year. Well this was a year dominated by RBS and BNKS. Thought I am not from any of these school. Congrats!! to those who got accepted and best of luck to those waitlisted. Those who didn’t get anywhere I suggest to take the SATs again and do better!!

Guys! I need to WIRE $200 to the college ASAP. I went to several Banks today and they all required a SWIFT code…however the college has not provided me with any such code except the Account no. and other details. Have anyone of you already submitted deposits to the colleges?? If yes how did you all do it? What documents did you require to carry out this task? Please help. Thanks in advance!!!

You have two options : telegraphic transfer or you can make a demand draft of $200 and DHL it.
For TT you will need swift code , bank name .branch name … you should email your college asking for them.

Thanks williamso1, do you know how much will the Bank charge and what documents will I have to show for that??

bank charge is 500 rs (I payed this ) but banks might charge up to 10% of the amount, and you have to take the print of admission offer that says you have to deposit the sum.I m not sure about the rest but i think a photocopy of your passport or citizenship

thanks a lot!!! DId your bank take 10% of the amount?? which bank did you use??

I sent a demand draft made by Himalayan bank .They charged me 500 ; but charge is different for TT. They charge on % basis .I think its 10 ; not sure though .

thanks…and did your college suggest to send by this method…or did they accept it later…and u DHL-ed the demand draft??? How many days did it take to reach there?

yup, I DHL-ed it .It took less than 3 days. I would have done TT if I weren’t very late already…btw,TT takes around 24 hrs… In my case , It was Friday , and I had no swift code.I couldn’t wait till the weekend got over.

thanks for all this help…and one more thing…can you find the SWIFT codes of banks in the internet…i am writing to the college about this matter and they don’t seem to understand…

I think so , if you know the bank and branch name . if emailing doesn’t help , try calling the admission office and explain to them clearly.
P.S you’ll need the following :
Benificiary Account number
Account Name
Swift Code
Benificiary Bank
Branch Name
Student’s Name and ID# must be referenced to ensure account credit.
