Ok... for those of us who are scared to death of all those people who post their acceptances on the other decision thread, relax. Most, if not all of them, are scholarship applicants. What I want to know, and probably many others, is the stats of the non-scholarship applicants who were accepted or rejected. I realize it is still early for us, but some non-schol's have already heard their decisions. So post away!

I checked Explore USC today, and it told me that I had been accepted.

Here are my stats:
GPA: 3.7UW, 4.1W
ACT: 33 (35M, 33W, 33S, 30R)
SAT: 2040 (760M, 610CR, 670W with 12 essay)
EC: Softball 3 years (would have done 4 but I moved my senior year), Math Team, FIRST Robotics, Church Youth Group
APs: 3 AP Language, 4 AP Stats, 5 AP Calculus BC
Senior Year: Calculus 3 and MultiVariable Functions, Differential Equations, AP Literature, AP Spanish, AP Environmental Science, AP Physics B (no C at my school :), and Honors Consumer Economics
Hook: Girl going into Engineering I guess. I also spent a lot of time on my essays.
Location: South Carolina

Good luck to the rest of you.

On a side note, I had sent in my Mid Year Grade Reports 2 weeks ago, but I checked yesterday and it still said that they had not yet received it. I am assuming that they accepted me without my MYG, despite having sent a letter to me requesting them.

Where do I go to check the "explore usc"?

http://www.usc.edu/exploreusc/

I used the ID that I got on my MYR, which was different than the ID I got in my first letter.

before today, were you able to log on the explore site at all, or did it say, "We were unable to find a record matching the applicant ID and date of birth you supplied. If you believe you may have entered this data incorrectly, please try again."

I went to the explore USC website (http://caravan.esd.usc.edu/exploreusc/) then entered the ID # that the admissions office just gave me over the phone (I never got any letter or anything from USC, nor did I submit a midyear report, so I didn't have any ID #). I log in, and I see this:

Welcome (my name here):

Congratulations on your admission to USC! We are delighted that you have an interest in visiting campus. Each Explore USC date has an attendance limit and reservations are granted on a first-come, first-served basis. You will not be able to select a session within 3 business days of its start date. The following sessions are still available

Does this mean I'm in? Or is this for everyone?

so if it said I wasnt able to log in, does that mean i got rejected???

And I was using a student ID code I had recieved before my application was even complete. Do you think it might have changed by now?...i hope so.

Then I went to the admitted students events site (http://caravan.esd.usc.edu/eventrsvp/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2feventrsvp%2fDefault.aspx) and I registered for the Seattle session. Is the fact they let me register for something for admitted students indicative that I'm in?

Comparanza, you are in.

"before today, were you able to log on the explore site at all, or did it say, "We were unable to find a record matching the applicant ID and date of birth you supplied. If you believe you may have entered this data incorrectly, please try again.""

You haven't been rejected. It either means you put in the wrong ID (since everyone was given 2), or they have not made a decision yet.

Lindsay, i was asking you <<"before today, were you able to log on the explore site at all, or did it say, "We were unable to find a record matching the applicant ID and date of birth you supplied. If you believe you may have entered this data incorrectly, please try again">>

It gave me the same error you are getting before I got in.
