@skyintheclouds @ohmloo I was accepted ED into NUin and was really confused initially but I have talked to counselors and other kids and am now really excited. Basically there are a lot of reasons why you could have been accepted to NUin and they don’t really say why but some of the thoughts are that you may have had issues freshman year of high school and they believe that you need some time to acclimate or that your financials indicated you could afford to pay full boat the first semester. Depending on what you want to study, you can choose to go to one of 5 places- London, Ireland, Greece, Australia or Canada- with about 250 other kids per location. You spend 4 months there and take normal gen ed classes with credits that completely transfer over. Then, in January, you will move into a dorm at Northeastern. According to friends, they didn’t feel like they missed out on much during the fall because people are always coming and going from Northeastern.
Congrats on getting in and good luck in your decision!

So because you applied ED you are bound to go to the abroad program?

Waitlisted after deferral in NJ!!! This is hilarious…I should’ve been rejected a long time ago…

@theaterdancer: No, NUIn was a non-binding decision in ED. A new wrinkle!

if there is no link to financial aid, does that mean you did not receive any??

@Theaterdancer No, ED was only binding if I was on campus for fall.

does anyone know what time people from california will hear?
