*****OFFICIAL NORTHEASTERN CLASS OF 2019 REGULAR DECISION APPLICANTS*****

How is everyone finding their merit money? Is it under the financial aid tab or do you have to log into myNEU?

Accepted for Electrical Engineering in FL
30 ACT
5.0 W GPA 3.8 U GPA
Top 10% of class

There’s a link on left labeled “scholarship” when you login to status portal

anyone hear from PA, DE or MD?

When I tried to log on to my decision status a pop up told me (after I’ve check for decision multiple times today and gotten to the page where it said still reviewing and what not) that I cannot access my decision page right now. Has anyone else had that?

expected it tbh

@beczhou‌ do you have to file fafsa for merit?

Has anyone outside of the continental US heard yet? I’m from the US Virgin Islands, and haven’t recieved anything yet…

@pennytime101‌ merit aid doesn’t rely on finances - it’s usually automatic or you have to apply for a scholarship so no fafsa

haven’t heard back in CA

waitlisted even though I expected to be accepted and was accepted to a better school… My EFC is essentially 0 though, and I’m a little suspicious about their lack of need-blind admissions

Waitlisted to business school…
from MA
32 superscore ACT
3.9 weighted GPA

Accepted with 30k a year (National Merit Scholar).
2300 superscored SAT, not sure about GPA, but above 3.8 unweighted for sure. (4.3 weighted)

30k is a good offer, but other schools I’ve applied to give full rides to NMFs, so I’m a tad disappointed with the merit aid.

My efc is 0 and they gave me so much aid! Although I still have to pay 10k out of pocket. Someone mentioned that neu is comittkng to meet full need this year!

D deferred EA, admitted today. 4.1 weighted, 1960 SAT, lots of leadership, ECs

Deferred EA, accepted today! 3.94 unweighted GPA, 30 ACT, lots of leaderships, unique extracurriculars

Accepted with 14k per year merit aid.

4.3 w don’t know UW-3.8 or above and 33act. From Indiana.

Got almost no financial aid which is very disappointing even with merit considering my EFC compared to it.

EA - deferred Just accepted into the NU/in program. Anyone else? Anyone know or recommend the program?

EA - deferred/accepted into NU/in program. Kinda confused about how this works…
