Ok I’ll say it… These schools like NE BC and Drexel that will bleed parents who can pay even if they have a high achieving student should be ashamed. Not fair that the students should be penalized. NE is a good is school not great. I hope some students choose more reasonable states schools. If you want to be a teacher engineer or scientist there are less expensive schools that will do the trick.
WAIT LISTED -_-
GPA- 3.58
SAT- 2140
everything else: very good
Northeastern has a lot of information about NUin, just google it and that should answer all your questions. Most everyone I know that was in it loves it, but know that you are more or less transfer students and it is a lot harder to meet people in January when friend groups have already formed. It’s better than a regular transfer because you’ll have your friends from NUin, but it can be definitely a rocky transition. NUin is not the program for everyone but if it excites you, absolutely do it- it’s an amazing way to see the world, and the classes aren’t very tough.
Sort of surprised. Straight up denied with realistic stats to get into Northeastern. It’s also odd because on my school’s naviance, Northeastern has switched from accepting a lot of students to not accepting many students (Last year 11/12 were accepted, year before that 2/12 were accepted). Maybe I’m just an unlucky year?

White Male NY - Applied to the Business School

Or you could’ve had a self-selecting applicant pool last year, for example I know a lot of Ivy hopefuls in my HS used NU as their safety because it didn’t have a supplement. The school’s profile is on the rise, and I’m consistently seeing students who thought they had solid to good to great chances of admission being deferred, waitlisted, and rejected.

If you were accepted to the into the NUin program your acceptance letter would clearly say that you are accepted into that program.
@kitty11: You have posted a similar comment on the threads of virtually every school you applied to.
Accepted into NUin. Absolutely no financial aid or grants even though the net price calculator estimated that I would receive a large university grant.
I know that net price calculators are supposed to be merely an estimate, but the npc and financial aid award are vastly different, can someone explain why?

How in the world do you access financial aid information? I am seriously struggling…
there is a link on the left side of the page.
