@ those of you begging students with decisions to post where they’re from, please search the Northeastern forum for past years. Lots of data points there already to ease your concerns.
@asinineayo No. A lot of NU.in admissions are based on test scores (i.e… if you are otherwise a good candidate but have lower test scores they will send you NU.in). That being said, some students are straight up uninterested and will not even consider the program (to each their own). I imagine asking students to indicate whether or not they’d consider is an attempt to help yield, as now students who would only be admitted NU.in will not be admitted at all if they’ve indicated they have no interest.
Son is in MA and decision came out right at 5pm est.
