I was accepted to the N.U in program ! Applied early action and was deferred. 3.5 gpa UW, 4.1 gpa W. 1260 gpa. International Afro Caribbean student. My first acceptance! I also applied to UMA and Georgetown, yet to hear back from them though.

@JoeDangit , I appreciate your kind words. Yes, I agree that my son is awesome, and I am still in deep disbelief he did not get accepted. Luckily it was not his first choice, but still an ego blow nonetheless. Might be rationalizing at this point, but maybe they felt he did not show enough interest. Oh well, moving on. @FPAparent Sometimes, things happen that you can’t really explain or rationalize. They’re totally out of your control. What you can control, however, is how you react to that. I’m absolutely sure your son will take this opportunity and rise up beyond the potential Northeastern can give him.
