@lilpumpjetskii that is very condescending to many of us who are very excited to get in. maybe your snobbery showed through in your application and that is why you were waitlisted. just be happy for those who were accepted rather than trying to make yourself sound smarter than them

@lilpumpjetskii Sometimes schools might think you’re a safety for them. It’s hard to go just by stats, but did you show any interest in Northeastern? I can tell you that some of my daughter’s friends that did not get in had better stats than she did and I don’t know why they weren’t accepted. I don’t think it always makes sense to be honest and it’s too frustrating to try to figure out what they were thinking. Good luck to you, I’m sure you will do fine. I hope you get into one of those schools!
I got waitlisted. Does anyone know the percentage of students that get waitlisted from the total applicants? And the percentage that get in? I looked but couldn’t find anything.
I got waitlisted (1510 new SAT and 3.76 unweighted gpa) and don’t really know what to think. On one hand it wasn’t my top choice, but now I feel like I won’t get it anywhere 
I’ve only gotten into TCNJ (with 32k scholarship) which is my safety
