@ccag7 You don’t know what financial aid you got? When do they release that information? I got accepted and received the Dean’s Scholarship, but no need-based financial aid (which is very surprising considering my income bracket).
@TeenPhilosopher i don’t know what financial aid i got, im assuming information will come in the mail… not really sure how the site works (sorry,i dont know much to help you)
It (financial aid) came with the admission decision
This may be a dumb question, but since Northeastern is a 5 year uni (in most cases), are we still the class of 2021? In 5 years it will be 2022…
@vzee1105 You will be referred to as the 120th entering class.
@ccag7 Log into your application portal. There should be a link to your decision letter and a link to your financial aid right below that.
Can anyone give me the link to the groupme?
Can someone please message me the link to the personalized schedule maker for the March 25th Welcome Day? I accidentally deleted the email that had it.
@CARacing it’s personalized for each student so I think you would need to call NEU to get a new one for yourself.
Does merit aid replace need-based aid? If so, WTF NEU?
Unfortunately, @TeenPhilosopher , yes it does. :-q
Well, guess I’m not going to NEU.
@TeenPhilosopher , sorry to be the bearer of bad news. You can try to talk to them, but I have yet to hear of an exception. It stinks. Hope you have other good options.
@besteffort123 Our D received Dean’s scholarship of 16K/year, over 4 years. Obviously a small drop, but I guess every bit helps.

welcome day is for everyone who got in, not just for those who decide to attend, right?
If I go, I’d be taking a little over $30k a year. Parents don’t plan on helping, so it’ll all be loans. What do I do to make some magic happen?
