Talked about how a Pink Floyd song inspired me to pursue a career in the field of music, my counselor thought it was very good!

Very happy that I’ve been accepted  . I’m majoring in Music Industry.
Northeastern is my safety school and my enrollment depends on my acceptance/rejection from NYU!

I got accepted by Northeastern and they invited me in honors program. But they have not stated anything about financial aid…So what can I do now?..Any suggestions…

I haven’t received a decision yet…I guess they’re not finished reviewing my application? I applied close to the deadline.

I thought everyone who is in honors got at least a Dean’s Scholarship ($16k year), so you might want to call NU and ask someone at admissions of fin aid.

If you checked your decision on your smartphone, you may miss the scholarship link. Check in on your PC.

Hi, is there a facebook group for NEU’s class of 2016?

I don’t get how these students are considered “the top 10%” of applicants. One student here was accepted with an <1800 on the SAT, pending he/she was being truthful. Not everything is about numbers, of course, but how could someone with that score be considered “the top 10%?” I never thought ECs went so far.

SAT scores are not looked at or considered for international applications. Thats how someone with such a low score could be considered in the top 10%

Ah, I see. Thanks, swimchris.

Has Anyone Regular Decison, non-honors, domestic been accepted yet? Or does anyone know the tentative date of them posting admissons decisons?

I applied regular decision and have been awaiting a decision. I imagine they will be posted sometime in the last two weeks of March. I hope they don’t keep us waiting until April.

last year’s decisions came out on march 15th so i think itll be around the 15th. But i hope they come out sooner!! im dying of anxiety!

My D was given honors she did not apply for it.

Applicants dont apply for honors they are selected by admission officers based on applicants’ academic + extracurricular status

Do any of you think we may find out today??

When is the regular decision date? Anyone know?

Yeah, does anyone have any insight as to when the decisions are sent out? The wait is absolutely unbearable!

It’s annoying that they’re not even telling us when they’re giving it to us i just wanna kno when

Let me know when you guys hear and I’ll do the same. I still need to hear back from 8 schools. I hope they all don’t actually take until April. That wait would be excruciatingly painful.
