decisions have already started being released. started 11 minutes ago. should be matter of minutes if they plan to release it all at once. they could be doing it in waves like EA which means the time you receive your decision would be depending on your state.

Oh yes I see. Again good luck. I’m about to **** myself I’m so nervous.

mine locked up again :/

Daughter got in as anticipated after yesterday’s accidental email from financial aid. Links to the decision letter and (most importantly!) financial aid document aren’t working yet.

I was wrong about links not working. Browser was just downloading files. Anyway, the financial aid was disappointing. No grant, all government program loans and work-study. Nowhere near enough. Afraid Northeastern is going off the list of schools under consideration.

Just heard this afternoon–Waitlisted.

Reflections: I just got into Brandeis, so being waitlisted at Northeastern seems odd. I do really like the school so will keep hoping for a later admit.

@sciencelove, the thing thats interesting about you being waitlisted is that i think they think your too good for the school! many schools will do this with over qualified applicants because they believe that it is a safety school for them, I’m sure if you show you want to go there they will accept you in an instant

Decision: accepted to N.U.in program and to start the nursing program in the spring!!

SAT: 1880 combined
Weighted GPA: 3.67
Teacher recs: really good! My teachers really liked me.
Essay: all about lifeguarding and nursing, I thought it was pretty good!
I’m a white female from MA

Congrats and good luck to everyone else!!

^I agree. I’m sure if you put yourself on the wait list you will get in!

Thanks, Kyoung and Mango. I actually think that it’s because probably 1/2 of my HS applies there, it’s insanely popular. Ah well, I have two admits I would be really happy with, and I’ll see what the waitlist brings down the line. I wanted Engineering or Physics, which at NU is really strong. My loss is someone else’s dream come true, and I’m more than good with that.
Best of luck to everyone!

hey everyone!
I just got accepted to Northeastern which is kind of a surprise for me because I thought myself as a weak applicant compared to the people in my school school who also applied.
Best of luck to everyone else!
SAT: 1910
Weighted GPA: 3.9
recs: idk, but I bet they were at least good
extracurricular: I only had two!! volunteering at a hospital and summer job
essay: I wrote about how I take risks and go outside of my comfort zone
Asian female in MA

Just got accepted into NU.in
ACT: 30
SAT II: 700 USH, 690 Bio
GPA: 3.89, 4.13
Don’t want to go into much else… Northeastern was a safety that I’m not fond of. I hope everyone else really loves NU and has an amazing time there!

Ha. Safety school? Really? Too bad you were only accepted into NUin if this was your safety school.

just got waitlisted, and northeastern was one of my lower targets/safeties? oh well, my parents were like theres no way in hell i’m going to northeastern since i got into macaulay hunter- but still, kinda bummed.

i had a 31 act, and i’m hispanic. i wonder if it’s because since i’m a national hispanic recognition scholar, they’d have to give me a full scholarship?

oops, i should have read my decision letter more carefully. i got into the n.u. in program as well… so not an official northeastern student. this decision seems more reasonable considering my stats

Waitlisted
2000 SAT, 30 ACT
3.6 GPA
Great recs, band for four years with leadership in band for three, summer research programs, 300+ hours volunteering in hospitals, nursing homes, and tutoring.
Applied to international studies.

Idk if I’m going to accept waitlist or not. It was one of my top choices, and I thought I at least had an NUin chance…but idk if I’d get in off the waitlist anyway.
